The United Professional Firefighters of Contra Costa County Local 1230 are hosting their 2nd Annual Charity Firefighter’s Ball to support the Bikes for Tykes program, the Ball this year has been set for Saturday, October 22nd at the Marriott in Walnut Creek.
The Bikes for Tykes program is a long standing supported charity of our Contra Costa County Fire Fighters. This is a fantastic program which benefits the community and gives us all the chance to get together and support local charities within our own hometowns. There is nothing more rewarding than building bikes and creating a positive experience with your local fire station.
Last year, we raised over $10,000 and built over 500 bikes for our program!
The firefighters are incredibly excited about their upcoming gala, so come join them for a charitable evening of dinner, dancing, silent/live auction and special guest speakers.
