Livermore Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing Man


The Livermore Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in a missing person investigation.

On March 2, Dwight Meier communicated to his family that he would no longer see them and they could find his vehicle at the Livermore Walmart. When his parents received the letter on March 5, they contacted the Livermore Police Department and filed a missing person report.

Meier’s vehicle was located at the Walmart in Livermore like he had stated in his letter. LPD Officers along with the assistance from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office, checked the surrounding areas around Walmart. Despite search efforts, Meier has yet to be located. LPD Detectives are continuing their investigation in locating the whereabouts of Meier.
