At 4:30 pm Saturday, East Contra Costa firefighters responded to a report of a Jet Ski crash off of the 7000 block of Orwood Road in Knightsen.
According to Battalion Chief Jeff Burris, Engine 59 arrived on scene to await the arrival of a vessel that was carrying an unknown quantity of injured people. Once the vessel arrived, it was determined that they had 3-patients.
The patients included one who was suffering from severe injuries, another with moderate and a third who refused treatment. There was no visible damage to either Jet Ski which reportedly collided.
In total, one of the patients were flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek by CALSATR.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Contra Costa County Marine Patrol.
