The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between July 9-17 according to information provided by Brentwood Police Department.

Animal (Outside Assist)

  • 7/16 – Greenyard Ct.: OWN’s dog got loose and charged several neighbors, including RP, who stabbed the dog with a pocket knife to avoid being bit. Animal Control took custody of the dog.

Arson

  • 7/9 – Valley Green Dr.: Unidentified RES lit an illegal firework and caused a small grass fire near the creek.

Assault

  • 7/9 – McClarren Rd: ARR and VIC engaged in a physical altercation. VIC signed a citizens arrest against ARR. ARR transported to the Martinez detention Facility.

Auto Theft

  • 7/9 – Pescara Blvd: VIC- gave RES- her vehicle with the agreement he would pay for it at a later time. VIC later determined RES- had used a fake driver’s license and her vehicle had been stolen. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 7/14 – Susan St.: VIC loaned vehicle out to INV on 7/7/2014. INV loaned vehicle to RES on 7/7/2014. RES was not supposed to drive vehicle. RES has not returned vehicle to INV or VIC. Vehicle was located by CCCSO and released to VIC. Vehicle entered and removed from SVS.
  • 7/16 – Charmstone Ct.: VIC vehicle was taken from his driveway between 0630-1130 hours.

Burglary:

  • 7/14 – Griffith Lane:Responsible(s) removed hinges from doors to storage sheds and entered sheds. No items determined to be missing

Burglary – Business

  • 7/11 – Second St.:ARR stole alcohol from business. ARR to MDF.

Burglary – Residential

  • 7/14 – Stratford Way: Responsible(s) entered locked garages of homes under construction and removed water heaters, inverters, and misc electrical components. Estimated Loss of $11,000.

Burglary – Theft from Auto

  • 7/9 – Broderick Dr: Window of VIC vehicle smashed. $1400 in cash stolen.
  • 7/10 – Sand Creek Rd: Unknown RES broke passenger side rear window of VIC’s vehicle and attempted to steal the vehicle. Total approximate loss $450.

DUI

  • 7/10 – Oak St.: ARR stopped for VC violations and determined to be DUI. ARR to MDF. ARR’s vehicle released to RO.
  • 7/12 – Nancy St.: ARR vehicle stopped for CVC violation. ARR was found to be DUI and transported to MDF. ARR vehicle stored.
  • 7/12 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for VC violations. ARR was found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/12 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted at collison scene and determined to be under the influence of a CNS Stimulant. ARR transported to BPD and released to AMR for broken toe.
  • 7/12 – Lone Tree Way: P-1 collided with a parked vehicle. P-1 was determined to be DUI of a CNS Stimulant. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/13 – Dainty Ave: ARR-1 stopped for VC violation. ARR determined to be DUI. ARR-2 was intoxicated and unable to care for her safety. ARR-1 and ARR-2 to MDF.
  • 7/13 – Balfour Rd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/14 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was stopped for VC violation. ARR determined to be under the influence of alcohol. ARR released on PTA.
  • 7/16 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for VC violations and found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/16 – Central Blvd: ARR was stopped for VC violations. ARR was determined to be DUI. ARR provided blood samples at the station. ARR to MDF.

Forgery/Counterfeiting

  • 7/17 – George Ct.:ARR was contacted during a suspicious person investigation and was found to be in possession of burglary tools and counterfeit currency. ARR to MDF.

Grand Theft

  • 7/17 – Bellerose Ct.Unknown RES took four air conditioning units overnight from the construction site.Total loss estimated at $4000. (Occurred 7/16/14 1630 – 7/17/14 0500)

Fraud

  • 7/9 – Second St.: ARR entered bank and attempted to cash a fraudulent check. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/11 – Sand Creek Rd: An unidentified responsible used VIC’s credit card to make $678.42 of purchases in Brentwood.
  • 7/11 – Sand Creek Rd: An unidentified responsible used a VIC’s credit card information to conduct multiple purchases within Brentwood.
  • 7/11 – Lone Tree Way: An unidentified responsible attempted to charge $1050 on VIC’s American Express credit card.
  • 7/16 – Brentwood Blvd: SUS attempted to pass a counterfeit bill.
  • 7/16 – Madera St.: RES attempted to use VIC’s credit card information to make a purchase.

H&S Violations (Not Narcotics)

  • 7/16 – Oak St.:ARR was contacted at the business for a narcotic violation and was found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe. ARR to MDF.

Hit & Run Accident

  • 7/16 – Foothill Dr.: An unidentified responsible struck VIC’s garage door and fled the scene without providing the required information.

Narcotic Violations

  • 7/14 – Orchard Dr.: ARR was contacted in reference to a disturbance call. He was on probation and in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/17 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was detained by Home Depot Loss Prevention for theft and was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.

Other Violations

  • 7/12 – Silverwood St.: RES said INV choked and slapped her. INV fled prior to police arrival. Negative injuries, and medical attention. RES later called and said the report was false.
  • 7/12 – Autumn Valley Way: Officers attempted to contact ARR while investigating a report of a subject in a vacant residence. ARR would not comply with officers’ orders and was later detained. ARR was found to be on felony probation. ARR to MDF.

Parole Violations

  • 7/10 – Walnut Blvd:ARR contacted and determined to be under the influence of alcohol in violation of ARR’s probation. ARR to MDF.

Petty Theft

  • 7/9 – Brentwood Blvd: Both front and rear license plates were stolen from victim’s vehicle.
  • 7/9 – Vineyards PW: Three no parking signs taken from posts along the roadway. Occurred on 7/9/14 between approximately 0000 hours and 1700 hours.
  • 7/9 – Walnut Blvd: RES entered business and stole 18 pack of Coor’s Light. RES ran NB on railroad tracks after being confronted. Loss $16.00.
  • 7/11 – Armstrong Way: RES entered VIC’s vehicles by unknown means and stole electronic components between 7/10 at 2245 and 7/11 at 0950 hours.
  • 7/11 – Griffith Lane: The VIC’s purse was stolen from a locker by UNK RES.
  • 7/12 – Brentwood Blvd: LED light bar stolen from security vehicle.
  • 7/13 – Orchards Dr: RES stole VIC’s wheelchair which was left on front lawn. Occ’d 07/12/2014 0400 1200.
  • 7/15 – Foothill Dr: VEH left unlocked and items stolen.
  • 7/16 – Gathering Ct.: Reporting Party found a ladies style wallet on walking trail behind his residence. Wallet returned to owner who reported that the wallet was stolen from her unlocked
  • 7/16 – Monroe Ct.: VIC’s license plate to trailer is lost or stolen. License plate entered into SVS
  • 7/16 – Brentwood Blvd: Unknown RES entered the store. When RES exited the store, the security alarm went off. Unknown what was stolen.
  • 7/16 – San Jose Ave: VIC’s personalized Prudential real estate sign was taken from the corner of San Jose Ave and Wildcat Ln. Approximate loss $305.
  • 7/17 – O’Hara Ave: VIC’s reported that two toolboxes, which contained various tools were taken from his open barn. Total estimated loss $100.00.
  • 7/17 – Lone Tree Way: VIC’s cellphone was taken from his vehicle.

Phone – Reports

  • 7/16 – Crescent Dr.: RES sent VIC a threatening video via Instagram. RP wished the incident be documented.

Robbery

  • 7/10 – Pescara Blvd:ARR and RES robbed VIC of his cellphone. ARR was arrested nearby and later transported to Juvenile Hall.

Trespassing

  • 7/14 – Leaning Oaks Dr.: INV’s knocked on RP’s door and after about five minutes, one jumped the fence into the rear yard. INV’s left on foot when they saw RP was at home.

Vandalism

  • 7/10 – Campanello Way: Responsible used black spray paint to write on the entrance to the bridge at Creekside Park.
  • 7/10 – Europena Dr.: Responsible(s) damaged four mailbox doors.
  • 7/11 – Apple Hill Dr: Graffiti inside the Deer Valley Trail tunnel under Apple Hill Dr
  • 7/12 – Shiles LP: UNK RES(s) entered a vacant residence and vandalized the carpet and walls with paint. Estimated damage is $2500.
  • 7/13 – Cottonwood: RP reported RES entered the community pool area and covered five lights with carpet padding.
  • 7/15 – Oak St. : Responsible(s) used black spray paint to write on wall of business.
  • 7/15 – Towncenter Tr: Responsible(s) used black spray paint to write on wall of business.
  • 7/15 – Brentwood Blvd: Responsible(s) used orange spray paint to write on sound wall of apartment complex.
  • 7/16 – American Ave: Responsible(s) damaged 8 irrigation boxes, damaged lawn, and stole 4 metal letters from sign in front of school. Estimated loss $1700.
  • 7/17 – Brentwood Blvd: Rows of vineyards ran over by VEH; permanently damaging the grape vines. Occurred between approximately 7/11/14 1200 hours and 7/16/14 0630 hours.
  • 7/17 – O’Hara Ave: RES spray painted VIC’S pesticide sprayer black, damaged the spray arm, damaged two spray nozzles, and removed the tank cap.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • 7/9 – Walnut Blvd: CITE was stopped for minor vehicle code violations and determined to be an unlicensed driver. V-1 towed per 22651(p) VC. V-1 entered into SVS. ARR determined to under the influence of cold and cough medicine and released to AMR per 849(b) PC.

Warrant

  • 7/10 – Highland Way:ARR was contacted and had an outstanding warrant (484/488 PC). ARR was released on a PTA.
  • 7/10 – Sand Creek Rd:Vehicle stopped for cvc violations. ARR had a warrant for his arrest. ARR was also driving while his CDL was suspended for DUI. ARR to MDF. Vehicle towed for expired registration.
  • 7/17 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant for 14601.1 VC. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/17 – Handel Way: Responded to a 911 hangup. Contacted ARR at his residence. ARR had two warrants. ARR was transported to MDF.
  • 7/17 – Berry Ln: ARR stopped for VC violation and found to have two no cite warrants. ARR to MDF.

Weapons Violations

  • 7/9 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was found to be in possession of a modified imitation firearm. ARR was released on a juvenile affidavit.
