Flood Warning Issued Through Saturday in East Contra Costa

A flood warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in east Contra Costa County and parts of Alameda County through 11:30 am on Saturday.

According to the alert, flows into the Delta combined with high tidal influences will continue a flood threat through the weekend.

The San Joaquin River will also remain high through the weekend.  therefore, the flood warning will remain in effect.

Delta islands will likely experience flooding during this time.

Some locations that are in the warned area include: Antioch, Pittsburg, Martinez, Oakley, Discovery Bay, West Pittsburg, Port Costa, Rodeo, West Pittsburg, Clyde, Knightsen, Crockett, Bethel Island and Vine Hill.
