Earn 20-Ride Bus Pass through SchoolPool Program

by ECT

In an effort to encourage students in grades 6-12 to use public transit to get to and from school, the SchoolPool program was created to offer complimentary introductory County Connection or Tri Delta Transit bus passes for up to three (3) students per household.

The program is offered to students in the following communities:

  • Antioch
  • Bay Point
  • Brentwood
  • Byron
  • Clayton
  • Concord
  • Discovery Bay
  • Knightsen
  • Martinez
  • Oakley
  • Pacheco
  • Pittsburg
  • Pleasant Hill
  • Walnut Creek.

To apply, a parent or guardian must complete an application and make a pledge that their student will ride the bus to and from school.

If approved, bus passes are available for up to 3-students per household while supplies last. Each student will receive a bus pass good for 20-rides on County Connection or Tri Delta Transit pass, whichever bus operator serves the home-school trip.

The application process is July 1 through September 29 while supplies last.
