DeSaulnier’s Statement on Appointment of Special Counsel to Investigate Trump-Russia Ties

by ECT

Washington, DC – On Wednesday, Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) issued the following statement after former FBI Director Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel to oversee the investigation into ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.

“The appointment of former FBI Director Robert Mueller to special counsel is a significant step in the investigation into President Trump’s campaign and connections to Russia, and offers reassurance that our government institutions are holding up under enormous pressure. Based on his reputation, I expect Director Mueller to pursue the investigation in a professional manner and to follow the facts wherever they may lead. It remains imperative that Congress assert its constitutional responsibility by conducting its own investigation to run parallel with the special counsel. It is long past time for Republican leadership to stop whistling past the graveyard, put the needs of our country first, and get to the bottom of this very serious matter.”

I hope we can improve relations with Russia. At one time in our Nation’s history we had broken through the mistrust and formed a relationship strong enough to end the misery created by the wall that separated East and West Germany. We would be foolish to act in a way to reverse what we have carefully built over the last 3 decades. Where was DeSaulnier when Obama/Clinton received the largest foreign donations during the election cycles and the round about way to donate to her charity? This is a projection of hate that DeSaulnier was feeling when he could do nothing the last eight years and now look like a hero acting on an appearance of wrong doing by the recent campaign. I feel it is wrong for any party to use other nations to meddle in our elections. I hope DeSaulnier apologizes when the special counsel finds charges but are minor violations that will be exposed in the process of investigating our politicians.

We should have a special prosecutor to investigate the ignorance, stupidity, and treason of the liberal media, snowflakes, progressives, and every Democrat who have made sure that helped Obama turn America into the weakest, most hated Nation on earth.

Statement, statement, statements, Congressman, have you done anything for your district, state, or country yet? Please do what you were elected to do. Represent the people who gave you inflated benefits and stop the statements. We don’t care how you feel. Work towards a better place for all of us!!

Ivanka Trump just got $100 million from the UAE, and her dad is kissing Muslim @$$ for his cut like a two faced hoe. Yup, drain the swamp…? So I guess the “swamp” is regular folk like you and I.

Funny you say that. Hillary Clinton was funneling billions for her own pockets through Clinton Foundation moron, meanwhile Trump just made a deal with Saudis to pump back billions into our economy and regular folk like you are too stupid to see how good that does for our country. Are you mad your welfare check will stop?

The government is for the people by the people. Quit acting like their some sovereign entity over us. Why when anyone criticizes Trump you automatically bring up Hillary? She’s a oligarch puppet too dude, they both suck. And no welfare will never stop because it’s what taxes pay for, like parks you never go to, schools your kids don’t attend, roads you don’t drive on.

Your daddy Trump also talked bad about Muslims then sucks up to them even though the Saudis fund terrorists. He’s a two faced sellout who will do anything for profit. Oh wait, I’ll wait for your reply about Clinton. Don’t act like you’re not regular folk when you’re commenting on this grassroots site fool.

My brother, do not feel bad for your son. He was raised in the nanny state and will always feel entitled to what he can get off others hard work. This sickness was forced on him by the lazy, the freeloaders, and career politicians of California. Do not blame him as for he is just another pawn of solialistic pressure.

Ok so back to basics, what about kids born with genetic diseases who can’t pull themselves up from the bootstraps? What about the foster kids who weren’t born into the life like you? Taxes are in place to take care of people, like paying for roads you don’t drive on, parks you don’t go to, etc. There’s plenty of resources to go around, but of course blame your fellow man instead of the masters at the top using your taxes for vacations and multiple homes overseas. That’s the real enemy, not the poor chick using EBT. You’re the pawn and let your TV and news think for you. You baby boomers are disgraceful and let the evil of the world corrupt you. You’re part of the proletariat like me you fool.
