Brentwood, CA – Contra Costa County Public Works will pave Balfour Road from Byron Highway to Sellers Avenue from Thursday, September 20th to Tuesday, September 25th. Drivers can expect traffic delays due to construction.
Paving activities will not occur over the weekend.
The second phase of the project is nearing completion and, once completed, will provide three miles of widened shoulder and travel lanes along Balfour Road from Bixler Road to Sellers Avenue in the Brentwood area.
Funding for this project is provided by the Discovery Bay West Mitigation Fund. More information for this project can be found here.
