Congressman DeSaulnier’s Statement on Comey’s Written Testimony

by ECT

Washington, DC – Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11), a member of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, issued the following statement on former FBI Director James Comey’s written testimony for the Senate Intelligence Committee hearing scheduled for tomorrow.

“Every American citizen should read former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony. Throughout his life, Trump has never believed boundaries apply to him. Would an innocent person call the Director of the FBI six times and initiate three private, in-person meetings over the course of four months? Conversely, President Obama never spoke to the FBI Director on the phone and met with him alone, in-person twice in eight years. At tomorrow’s hearing, I call on my Republican colleagues to put country before party and to help Congress get to the bottom of what happened during the 2016 Presidential Campaign. History will hold accountable those who are silent,” said Congressman DeSaulnier.

Mark DeSaulnier each and every time you open your mouth and release a statement, you insert both feet. Why the people of your District voted for you is a complete mystery.

Obviously, it takes a kindergarten education and the IQ of a sewer rat to release a moronic, idiotic statement like this. Being a democrat is definitely a mental disorder!

When the intelligence community proves Trump was paid by Putin to do favors for Russia in office, I hope we can finally unite as a country against him.

Desaulnier is a joke. The entire fiasco is a demo game. Who publicizes a testimony before the testimony? In fact, the fake media has speculated and puffed the alleged quotes in question. Unless you were there how can you accurately report. It’s hearsay. Fake Desaulnier is a career politician who has done absolutely nothing but perpetuate the debt of government. You and my kids eventual debt to pay. If it quotes Desaulnier its political motivation only. I call on our American Citizens to stop the circus and get tax relief, jobs, and infrastructure back on the priority list. I want my country back from politicians such as Desaulnier.

Desaulnier is an absolute tool.

Rev Sharpton has visited President Obama and the White House on 72 occasions, including 5 one-on-one meetings, 20 meetings with staff members or senior advisers. Rev Sharpton owes the IRS millions of dollars has made derogatory comments about Jews, Mormons, Gays and absolutely hates the Police. Oddly enough I can’t find one statement released by Desaulnier about any of this.

I agree we need to get to the bottom. We DID, get to the bottom of Hillary’s email scandal BUT COMEY caved to Lynch, who shirked her responsibility to decide whether prosecute because of her meeting with Bill C during the investigation…NOTHING HAPPENED because Comey unilaterally decided that “intent” was a necessary element of the offense when “gross negligence”, which Comey pretty much said was evident in the Hillary case, is sufficient to meet the standard for prosecution. You Dems were ecstatic about that. What’s good for Trump is good for Hillary. What have you got to say about the, Congressman????

Geese Mark, you have the RIGHT to remain silent. Why don’t you try exercising it for a change?

He met with Comey to discuss his loyalty to Hillary/Obama and could he count on Comey to give him the same loyalty. I do not approve of such a conversation. Comey made a mistake by twisting the language in law to stop the media fiasco that would follow. This was a correct decision as the circus would be more damaging to governing than the secrets exposed to other nations. Comey’s decision also came with consequences we are seeing in DeSalnier’s statement.
