Calistoga: Veraison Set for Fundraiser for Wine Country Animal Lovers

by ECT

In the wake of the recent fires that have impacted our local community, Veraison is hosting a fundraiser for Wine Country Animal Lovers (WCAL).

WCAL is a small, all-volunteer run animal rescue based out of Napa Valley wanting to make a difference in the lives of animals. They have been serving animals and families in Napa, Lake and Sonoma Counties since 2012,

On Wednesday November 1, Veraison is hosting a fundraiser where you are invited to come out and enjoy dinner for a great cause. 15% of all proceeds will be donated to the WCAL to assist them in helping animals in our region.

“Everyone in the region has been impacted and as someone who almost lost our winery and two restaurants, we are trying to do our part to give back to the community where we can,” said Rick Kaiser, owner of Veraison.  “This fundraiser is one of many we plan to hold in the coming months. There is a lot to do to bring our community back to where it once was. I am confident if we all work together, we will all be thriving together again.”

Kaiser added that tourism is really hurting since the fires and encourages people to come visit the wineries, eat at local restaurants, tour boutique and shops in and around Calistoga.

Call (707) 942-5938 for reservations for the event. Veraison is located at 1457 Lincoln Ave, Calistoga, CA.
