Byron Highway Shutdown at Bruns Rd Due to Rollover Crash

At 5:50 am Friday, East Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Firefighters responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash at Byron Highway near Bruns Road in the town of Byron.

Upon arrival, all occupants were out of the vehicle and located one vehicle in a ditch.

As of 6:33 am, the roadway was closed in each direction.

Update
As of 6:50 am, the roadway has since re-opened.

  1. One day Vasco, the next Byron Hwy. We need a connector between the two at the airport for diverting traffic. Maybe EBRPD can venture with the county. Oh, wait that makes sense so it will not happen.
