On this episode of WTF California Podcast, its all City of Antioch business as recall proponent Kathy Cabrera joins us to talk about the shenanigans being played in the Antioch City Clerks office by Ellie Householder who is protecting Antioch Mayor Lamar Thorpe while sabotaging the recall effort. Her actions are preventing citizens from collecting recall signatures. We also jump into the appointment of Cornelius Johnson to interim Antioch City Manager and his ties to Mayor Thorpe and Mayor Pro Tem Monica Wilson–it doesn’t quite pass the smell test with campaign donations, hosted fundraisers and his resume. We apparently are not allowed to ask questions over Mr. Johnson’s qualifications. Plus more.

Putting in that Johnson guy as “interim” city manager, should be vigorously protested. There’s definitely a conflict of interest.
People won’t protest for this, they are lazy and endorse anybody they will support the problems.
