At 11:24 am Saturday, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District and CALFIRE were dispatched to a report of a vegetation fire in the 6000 Briones Valley Road in unincorporated Brentwood.
At the time of the report, the fire was estimated at a 1/4 acre vegetation fire.
Upon arrival to the fire at 11:41 am, CALFIRE reported 3-5 acres on fire with moderate to rapid spread with potential of being 25-acres.
Update
By 12:03 pm, CALFIRE reported the fire was contained to about 10-acres and resources will be committed for 90-minutes.
