Update: Bank of the West Robbery, Stockton Police Offer $5k Reward

Today, Chief Eric Jones and the ATF held a joint press conference at the Stockton Police Department. Chief Jones announced a 16 year old juvenile male was arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County Juvenile Hall last Thursday September 11, 2014 for accessory after the fact and gang charges. The 16 year old took the suspect vehicle, the Buick, which was used to bring the three gunmen to the Bank of the West on July 16, 2014 and dropped it off on West Creek Drive in Stockton. The Buick was recovered on July 18, 2014.

Investigators are now looking for Pablo Ruvalcaba, a 21 year old man, gang associate. Ruvalcaba is wanted only for questioning as possibly being the driver that brought the three gunmen to the Bank of The West on July 16, 2014.

ATF also announced a $5,000 reward for any information on how the gunmen obtained the AK47 rifle. There is still a $50,000 reward for any information regarding this case.

The Stockton Police Department is encouraging citizens to call if they have information pertaining to this investigation. Callers are asked to call the Stockton Police Department at (209) 937-8377, the Investigations Unit at (209) 937-8323, or Crime Stoppers at (209) 946-0600. Callers can remain anonymous.
