Missing Person Determined to be Victim of Homicide

On the evening of October 30, 2021, the Fairfield Police Department took a missing persons report regarding Leilani Beauchamp, a 19 year-old female from Carmel, CA. She was last seen early that morning in Sacramento at a Halloween Party. She left with two males, who are active duty Air Force members, living in a residence on Cascade Lane, in Fairfield.

Fairfield patrol officers, detectives and members of Travis Air Force Base’s Office of Special Investigation (OSI) worked together, ultimately determining a homicide occurred at the residence on Cascade Lane resulting in Leilani’s death. On October 31st, Fairfield detectives worked with the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department and located Leilani’s remains in Monterey County.

Three individuals have been arrested in Leilani’s death:

  • Jessica Quintanilla, a 21 year old female from Pittsburg has been arrested for murder.
  • Juan Parra-Peralta, a 20 year old male from Fairfield and has been arrested for accessory to murder.
  • Marco Quintanilla, a 27 year old male from Pittsburg has been arrested for accessory to murder and a violation of his parole. Marco is currently on parole associated with a felony conviction for attempted murder.

We would like to thank Travis Air Force Base and the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department for their assistance in this case. While nothing positive will come from this horrible crime, the partnership and teamwork exhibited resulted in the timely closure of this investigation.
