The Contra Costa County Anti-Violence Support Effort (CASE) team along with deputy sheriffs and police officers this morning served a search warrant on a home on the 4900 block of Parkgreen Circle in Antioch.

During the search, they seized two firearms, ammunition, approximately ten pounds of marijuana, various drugs and cash.

They arrested two men, 23-year-old Patric West and 25-year-old Cedric West, both occupants of the residence. They were each booked on numerous felony charges including felon in possession of a firearm, prohibited person in possession of ammunition and various drug violations. They are each being held in county jail in lieu of $170,000 bail.

The arrest and seizure was a result of an investigation by CASE, a joint effort by the Office of the Sheriff, local law enforcement agencies and the California Department of Justice. CASE was created in November 2011 as a collaborative effort to reduce violent crimes in Contra Costa, especially those related to illegal firearms.
