A special meeting notice has been posted for Brentwood Unsheltered:  Virtual Town Hall scheduled for  September 29th at 5:00 p.m.  as a quorum of the Council may be in attendance.  It has been posted to comply with the Brown Act.  The meeting notice can be located here:  Agendas

The notice states as follows:

Date/Time: Tuesday, September 29, 2020, 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Location: Brentwood Unsheltered: Virtual Town Hall, will be hosted on WebEx:  https://brentwoodca.webex.com/brentwoodca/onstage/g.php?MTID=e916ba7916166aa1aade253b74251c8bb

Presentations: Brentwood Unsheltered will include presentations related to homelessness issues, including the City’s efforts, County services, outside limitations, and ways the public can assist.

  • Tom Hansen, Police Chief
  • Chris Peart, Police Sergeant
  • Lavonna Martin, Director of Health, Housing & Homeless Services (Contra Costa County);
  • Dr. Suzanne Tavano, Director of Behavioral Health Services (Contra Costa County).

Public Comment:  Following the presentations, the public will be permitted to comment and ask questions of City and County staff.
