Adventure Sails are two-hour family-oriented experiences with opportunities for guests to help raise a sail, learn a sea shanty, and take the helm of a real tall ship, conditions permitting. Tickets are $47 adults, $39 children 12/under. To purchase tickets in advance, visit http://historicalseaport.org or call 800-200-5239.

Launched in 1988, the steel-hulled ship was constructed in Lahaina, Hawaii. The vessel is an interpretation of a common design for early 19th century Atlantic Seaboard coastal traders. The ship is staffed by professional mariners and trainees on a two-week training experience. More information about Hawaiian Chieftain is available at http://historicalseaport.org.
