Senator Steve Glazer will host a telephone town hall meeting on the Coronavirus on Tuesday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m.
The guests will include:
- Dr. Ori Tzvieli, M.D., acting Contra Costa County Health Officer
- Dr. Arthur Reingold, UC Berkeley epidemiologist and expert on the spread of infectious disease
- Dr. Lynn Mackey, Contra Costa County Superintendent of Education.
According to Glazer, these experts will explain the nature of the virus and the steps federal, state and local health officials are taking to contain it. They will also discuss contingency plans schools are making should the virus continue to spread. And they will answer e-mailed questions from the public.
