The Pittsburg Seafood and Music Festival is pleased to announce that the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce is now offering family packs for the month of August. In a never before done move, the Chamber wants to make sure this is a family friendly event, so family packs are available in packages ranging from a 4-packs for $40 to a 6 pack for $60.

“We believe this is going to be the best family friendly event in all of Contra Costa County this fall so we decided to offer family friendly pricing to ensure more families could attend,” said  Chamber CEO Monica Couture. “We are working on adding activities such as children and adult carnival rides, a petting zoo, and the thrill of watching jet ski races.”

For Contra Costa non-profits, service groups and business owners, the Chamber announced it is offering 12-tickets for just $99 – as a way for larger groups to not only support the event, but offer tickets to their employees, customers or members.

“We feel that this larger package will be a great benefit to our local businesses and generous sponsors who want to invite their employees as a kind gesture of appreciation,” said Couture.  “Our Chamber board wanted to make sure this option was available to the many supportive businesses and service groups, as well, in the area as a way to say thank you for shopping local and supporting the local businesses.”

All tickets sold after August 31 will be $15.To purchase tickets, visit:  http://www.pittsburgseafoodandmusicfestival.com/. Or purchase directly at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/34th-annual-pittsburg-seafood-music-festival-2018-tickets-45302768801

The 34th annual Seafood Festival will take place on September 8-9 in Old Town Pittsburg along Marina Blvd. The Festival will be open for new hours from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The event is being headlined by Sheila E who will perform on Saturday, Sept. 8. The world-class drummer and percussionist has collaborated with artists such as Prince, Marvin Gaye and Gloria Estefan. Meanwhile, in 1984, her debut album “The Glamorous Life” was a Grammy Award-nominated top 10 hit of the same name, plus a second top 40 single. On Sunday, September 9, Santana fans are in for a treat as Caravanserai (a Santana tribute band) will perform. They are billed as the top Santana tribute band in the world.

This favorite East County festival, that hosts over 30,000+ patrons, includes music, entertainment, incredible food vendors, wine and beer, arts and craft vendors, and a variety of business vendors.

There will also be a full size carnival, and jet ski races on the Delta – not to mention a full schedule of entertainment, events, and a special headline entertainer – to be released at a later date.

The Pittsburg Chamber recognizes parking is an issue and there will be NO downtown lot parking this year. In response, the Chamber has partnered with Tri Delta Transit who will offer FREE shuttles for Seafood Festival patrons at Los Medanos College (700 E Leland Rd, Pittsburg, CA). We also encourage patrons to ride BART as Tri Delta Transit will have a shuttle stop to pick up attendees from the BART Station in Pittsburg- Pittsburg Center Bart

“We can’t thank Tri Delta Transit enough for partnering with us this year to ensure people can get in and out of the festival swiftly, safely and economically,” says Couture.
