Pittsburg Police to Participate in “No Shave November” Campaign

by ECT

The Pittsburg Police Department has announced they will be participating in “No Shave November”, a national campaign to forgo shaving to raise awareness about cancer. The rules are simple: don’t shave for 30 days and donate the money saved from shaving to this cause.

According to Captain Ron Raman, this is completely volunteer and Chief Addington has asked all Pittsburg Police Department to join him in bringing awareness to www.no-shave.org.

“This has definitely sparked conversation around the police department and several officers will be participating to bring awareness to such an important cause. The police profession historically has strict grooming standards and we feel that by us participating we can bring more awareness,” said Raman.
