Pittsburg Police Arrest Two After Shots Fired Call, Pursuit into Antioch

by ECT

The Pittsburg Police Department said Friday that officers on the graveyard shift were dispatched to a report of shots fired on Gladstone Drive at Loveridge in the City of Pittsburg.

Police responded to the area and while officers were circulating the area, a witness pointed out a vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed through the neighborhood and was related.

Police say officers attempted to initiate a traffic enforcement stop, at which time the vehicle fled from officers and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit continued into the City of Antioch where the vehicle collided into the curb and flipped over. Both suspects fled on foot but were subsequently taken into custody after a brief search with the assistance of the Antioch Police Department.

A search of the vehicle was conducted and several shell casings and live rounds were located.  The suspects were identified as Jordan Kennedy (23) and Charles Gordon (32).

Police released no other information.
