Pittsburg Police, who have actively been working two homicides on West Street, have announced the arrest of Aaron Robinson, 25 of Pittsburg, as a suspect for murder of Dominique Thomas, 22.
Thomas was shot to death just before 7:00 pm on October 29 on West St. near W. 11th. After further investigation and following up on several leads, Robinson was identified as a suspect in the shooting death of Thomas.
According to Captain Ron Raman of the Pittsburg Police Department, Detectives located and arrested Robinson in the 200 Block of William Way yesterday.
Robinson is currently in County Jail with a one million dollar bail for murder. Robinson case has not yet been reviewed by the D.A’s office and gang involvement relative to him is still under investigation.
Last week, the Pittsburg Police announced the arrest of Brian Adams, 22 of Antioch, on suspicion for the Nov. 4 shooting death of a18-year-old Jose Pedroza-Corzo, Pittsburg.
Detectives located Adams in a vehicle in the City of Martinez. He was contacted by Pittsburg Officers and arrested. Adams has confessed to shooting the victim and is currently in County Jail on murder charges with a million dollar bail.
Adams case was presented to the District Attorney’s Office and he remains in County Jail for murder with a gang enhancement.
