On Thursday, the Pittsburg Police Department announced the arrest in a fatal shooting that occurred on May 6 on Shoreline Drive in the City of Pittsburg just before midnight.
Police stated that on Wednesday, the served a search warrant in the City of Antioch (Daisy Avenue) and in Bay Point (Alberts Avenue) where they ultimately arrested Darrin Lynch, 51.
He was booked for the murder of Andrew McCoy, 47, and for a Felon in Possession of a Firearm and was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
Police said on Thursday that they are still working the investigation, including motive. They did state that they do know that McCoy was the intended target.
