In Pittsburg, a vegetation fire broke out around 11:30 Wednesday near a church on Polaris Drive near Case Drive in the City of Pittsburg. The fire department received multiple callers reporting the fire.
By 11:36 am, Engine 86 arrived on scene reporting the fire was threatening homes. By 11:43 am, Battalion 8 requested a 2nd alarm response for structure protection.
UPDATE
By 12:01 pm, the fire was knocked down, however, extensive overhaul is required.
