At 3:39 pm Saturday, Contra Costa County Firefighters were dispatched to In-N-Out Burger on Delta Gateway in the City of Pittsburg on a report that all occupants began coughing at the same time.
The incident was reported by the manager of In-N-Out Burger and the building was evacuated as a precaution.
By 3:50 pm, it was reported that there was possibly a Freon leak or an occupant at the restaurant sprayed something.
Pittsburg Police was called to the scene for traffic control.
By 4:00 pm, Battalion 8 was reporting they had no patients and they were still evaluating the situation.
Update
By 4:43 pm, CONFIRE began releasing units on scene. They reported they had 38-patients, and 2 patients who declined medical care. No patients were transported.
By 4:55 pm, CONFIRE terminated the incident and handed over the scene to county health and the manager.
