Just after 7:00 am Saturday, Pittsburg Police were dispatched to a report of a 39-year-old female who said she was shot while driving on Highway 4.
While responding, more information was provided saying while she was shot in the head, but she was able to make it home to Pittsburg.
By 7:10 am, Pittsburg Police arrived at the location, but the victim had already self-transported to a local hospital and was confirmed that the victim arrived at the hospital and was alert and talking.
The location of where the shooting occurred was unknown and police were still investigating as of 7:30 am. Antioch Police was dispatched to assist.
UPDATE
As of 7:45 am, it was reported that the shooting may have occurred in the area of Highway 4 & Bailey.
No other information was readily available, check back for updates.

You’re right, it does appear that it occured in Pittsburg but it did mention that Antioch Police were dispatched to assist. I’m guessing that Reading Comprehension isn’t one of Sky’s stronger talents.

OMG, Antioch?! Such a bad town! Yeah yeah, blame Antioch for everything that happens in this area. SMH.
I agree with Sky. If a crime happens in Antioch but the suspects fled the crime scene and escape to Brentwood, Brentwood PD will immediately take action to keep their city and people save. On the other hand, if something bad happens in Antioch and it’s neighbor cities, Antioch PD is slow to respond or may not even take any action at all.
Antioch is a crime infested dump, no arguing that point. But that article had nothing to do with the slums of Antioch .
