Photos: Brentwood Bark in the Park Continues to Grow in Attendance

The City of Brentwood held its Third Annual Bark in the Park at City Park on Saturday led through the efforts of the Brentwood Advisory Neighborhood Committee (BANC).

The event showcases the dogs while with many pet friendly vendors who were in attendance. The dog parade also had a record number of participants with 50 dogs participating.

Brentwood Mayor Bob Taylor said he was so happy to see this event grow from year one to now. Highlighting the word is getting out and people keep showing up with their four-legged friends.  He also thanked the community for the participation which included vendors, animal services, non-profit groups, adoptions, and pet supply companies.

Assemblyman Jim Fraziers wife Janet and their dog Rocky were in attendance to thank the committee for their hard work in putting on the event.

Brentwood Police were also on hand to introduce their newest K9 to the community. His name is Marco who is an 18-month old dog and is the first K9 for Brentwood Police in several years.
