On Friday afternoon, Antioch Police responded to a report of a physical altercation involving multiple juveniles on St. James Pl. off Rio Grande Dr.

Police arrived to St. James Pl. where four girls had already walked away but were later found on Rio Grande Drive and S. Francisco Way.

The altercation involved as many as four girls against one and according to witnesses this was the second time in as many days the girls were picking on youths in the neighborhood and also threatened to attack an adult.

According to a witness on scene, the girls also reportedly put the altercations on YouTube and social media–but that is not confirmed.

The incident required police on scene for roughly 40-minutes and at one point, up to five police vehicles were on scene.

Police took two of the four away in a police vehilce while they told two of the girls to walk home. No further details at this time.

They should have taken all four of them.

I agree.

These hoodlums have no idea how to live in a community and need to be taught. I live close to this location, and if I saw this going down, I would be in the cop car for assaulting a group of minors.

Why would you assume that they talk that way?

They should of taken in all 4 not just 2. Then called their guardians to come down and get them. Make the parents accountable for the actions of these punk girls. Get the parents involved so they know what they do when they are walking around up to no good..

Ummm, shouldn’t they have been in school? Or was this after school? I live close to DVHS and I see these kids walking around off campus at all hours when they should be in school. Oh and yeah, why are there kids constantly walking to school b/t 9-1030am. Last time I checked school starts around 8am. Is this an open campus and all these kids I see start school later in the morning???
