On Tuesday, the Oakley Police Department said they served a search warrant at a residential location in the City of Antioch related to the disappearance of Alexis Gabe. The home was located on Benttree Way.
According to Police, the Oakley Police Department was assisted by the Antioch Police Department and the Contra Costa County District’s Attorney’s office. The Oakley Police Department remains committed to locating Alexis and we will continue to take investigative steps in the case.
The police department has still held off on identifying a suspect or person of interest. Oakley Police also did not release any details of what may or may not have been found in the search.
The Oakley Police Department announced Monday that locating Alexis Gabe is their top priority. They received a call of a missing person under suspicious circumstances on January 27, 2022.
Gabe is described as an Asian female, 5’7”, 170 pounds and last known to be wearing a white tank top, silver/black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and green/white shoes.
The following statement was issued by the Oakley Police Department:
The Oakley Police Department has made locating Alexis Gabe their top priority since receiving the initial report on January 27, 2022 and we have been working on the case every day since it was reported to us.
The OPD has taken all measures available to locate Alexis. We have found several images and videos that may assist us. We are examining those pieces of information on an ongoing basis.
Additionally , we have solicited the assistance of neighboring law enforcement agencies to assist us. We have also deployed our volunteers to certain areas in hopes of locating evidence.
All patrol officers are having frequent conversations with the people they come across during their shifts in regards to Alexis. Some officers have been reassigned from their normal duties to assist our detectives during this investigation.
The Oakley Police Department has been in regular contact with Alexis’s family and we applaud their efforts to keep Alexis’s situation in the forefront of the community’s conversation.
The Oakley Police Department have not identified any suspects in the case, however, they have recovered her vehicle with keys in the ignition. Over the past several days family and friends have conducted several search party efforts in the City of Antioch and City of Oakley areas in hopes of locating Alexis Gabe.
The police department is asking the community to report any credible sightings of Gabe, or any information that will lead to her discovery by calling the Oakley Police Department at 925-625-8060.
