Oakley Man Dies, Another Injured After Antioch Shooting

The Antioch Police issued the following Press Release regarding a deadly shooting on the 2200 block of Banyan Way that left a 24-year-old male from Oakley dead and another 20-year-old male from Suisun requiring surgery.  The officers arrived to find a 24-Year-Old male and 20-Year-Old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police are still in the preliminary stages of the investigation. Here is the release:

DATE OF INCIDENT: 9/28/13

TIME OF INCIDENT: 10:01 PM

LOCATION: 2200 Block of Banyan Way

VICTIMS: 24-Year-Old, Male, Oakley Resident

20-Year-Old, Male, Suisun Resident

On 9/28/13 at approximately 10:01 PM, officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 2200 block of Banyan Way. The officers arrived to find a 24-Year-Old male and 20-Year-Old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victims were taken to a local area hospital for treatment. The 24-Year-Old victim was later pronounced deceased. As of this writing, the 20-Year-Old male is still in surgery. We are in the preliminary stages of this investigation, and no further information will be released at this time.

That area of Antioch is like the “iron triangle” they refer to in Richmond! It is sad that it will always be that way…

LLAB, who says it has to be this way? It’s the fault of the voters for voting for the same liberal politicians over and over again that are soft on crime. Vote for politicians that are hard on crime, I do, it’s real easy, at the next election, move your pen over to the next box. Let’s vote for new politicians that are HARD on crime.
