Nov. 4-5: Antioch Police Calls, Walnut Creek Bomb Squad Called to Investigate

Just after 3:30 pm Thursday, the Antioch Police Department responded to Ridgeview & Valley for a report of a suspicious item in a window. The incident required the assistance of the Walnut Creek Bomb Squad who arrived in Antioch just after 5:00 pm.

Upon further investigation, the item was determined to be no threat and turned out to be a Halloween prop which looked real.

No further information was provided by Antioch Police regarding the incident.
