At 12:57 am Monday, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a report of a motorcycle crash that left one patient injured.
According to the District, the crash occurred at Sanford Court and Victoria Way. The incident was a solo crash where a patient was suffering from a head injury.
Firefighters and AMR provided patient care and a medical helicopter was requested to a vacant lot near Walnut Blvd and Continentie Ave. The patient was transported by CALSTAR to John Muir Trauma Center in Walnut Creek.
