Motorcyclist Airlifted to Hospital After Crash on Marsh Creek Road

At 11:21 am Saturday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a vehicle versus motorcycle crash at Marsh Creek Road and Byron Highway in the Town of Byron.

According to preliminary information, the rider was thrown from the motorcycle after a collision involving a vehicle and was down in the roadway.

AMR arrived on scene and requested the medical helicopter to continue. The Contra Costa County Sheriffs Office was requested to block a portion of the roadway as the helicopter was to land on Marsh Creek Road just east of the crash site.

That was me. Broken hip and lower spinal column fractures. The driver of the truck that hit me ran the left turn red light and hit me as I accelerated when my green light hit.

Marco, I’m so sorry this happened!! I was behind the ambulance and saw you on the ground. I immediately prayed for you , I couldn’t stop thinking about you and have continued my prayers.
