Motorcyclist Airlifted to Hospital After Crash on Marsh Creek Road

At 11:41 am Wednesday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a vehicle versus motorcycle crash in the 19000 block of Marsh Creek Road near Lydia Lane in unincorporated Brentwood.

According to preliminary information, Battalion 5 arrived on scene to a rider down in the roadway who was in and out of consciousness. The rider sustained major injuries and the medical helicopter was requested to continue to the scene.

Battalion 5 also reported four other people were involved in the crash and sustained minor injuries–they were released at scene.

The motorcyclist was transported to the Round Valley Staging area by AMR before being transferred into a medical helicopter to be airlifted to a local hospital.

CHP was on scene investigating the crash. No other details were made available.
