The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between May 5 through May 22  according to information provided by Brentwood Police Department.

Animal Calls

  • 5/13 – San Juan Oaks Rd:RP- reported seeing two mountain lions near his residence.

Auto Theft

  • 5/5 – Summerwood Dr.: VIC’s vehicle stolen from in front of residence. Occ’d 5/4 1830 – 5/5 0530.
  • 5/9 – Granville Ln: VIC’s black 1999 Kawasaki KLR650 motorcycle was taken between 0900-1005 hours while parked in front of his residence.
  • 5/9 – VIC purchased a vehicle that was later determined to be stolen out of Concord. (Auto Recovery)
  • 5/16 – First St.: RES took VIC’s vehicle without permission.

Assault

  • 5/6 – Lone Tree Way:VIC attempted to stop 488 in progress. RES deployed a hand held stun device while VIC was in vehicle, and dry stunned VIC. RES fled scene. No injuries.
  • 5/11 – Mickelsen Ct.: ARR and VIC were arguing inside of V-1. ARR punched VIC. ARR later located and placed under citizens arrest. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/11 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR bit her grandmother multiple times causing significant injury.
  • 5/12 – Havenwood: Parties were involved in a physical altercation. ARR grabbed VIC-1 hair and struck VIC- 1. RES-2 struck VIC-2 with a bottle. All involved parties declined medical attention. ARR released on a signed Juvenile Affidavit.

Burglary – Business

  • 5/6 – Lone Tree way: RES entered business, selected items off of shelf and exited store without paying for items. RES abandoned items and fled when contacted by loss prevention in front of business. Total loss/recovered was $624.
  • 5/6 – Balfour Rd.: ARR entered the business with the intent to fill a fictitious prescription. ARR was contacted and determined to have two outstanding warrants out of the city of Pleasanton. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/10 – Second St.: Unknown RES pried door open and stole a document camera and LCD projector. Total loss $1,900. Occurred on 5/10/2014, around 0630 hours.
  • 5/10 – Sand Creek Rd.: ARR was contacted leaving the business. ARR is on probation and was in possession of items he stole from the business. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/11 – Second St.: An unidentified responsible removed a portion of a window to the business. The business’ alarm sounded and it appeared no entry was made
  • 5/13 – Lone Tree Way: SUS(S) smashed window to business and made enrty into business. VIC unsure if any property taken. Total estimated loss $500.00.
  • 5/20 – Lone Tree Way: ARR replaced the price tags on the merchandise with price tags from lower priced merchandise. ARR was found to be on probation. ARR to MDF. Incident occurred between 1230-1348 hours.

Burglary – Residential

  • 5/5 – Christenson St.: Front window was broken and security camera from window sill was taken. No sign of additional entry into residence. Loss $200 (Occured 05/04/14 2200 – 05/05/14 1500)
  • 5/7 – Lillian St.: RES entered through window and stole electronics including lap tops and tablets.
  • 5/9 – Coconut Ct.: Window screens to VIC’s residence were cut and side door appeared to have been kicked.
  • 5/13 – Sycamore Ave: Residence entered by unknown means. No loss. Occ’d 05/10-05/12.
  • 5/18 – Second St.: Storage shed broken into; miscellaneous tools and baseball gear taken. Occurred between approximately 5/16/14 1330 hrs and 5/18/14 1330 hrs.
  • 5/20 – Roselinda Ct.: RES broke side window to gain access and took men’s watches and a pearl necklace. Alarm was activated at 0845 hours.
  • 5/22 – Ashford Pl: WIT found RES inside garage. RES fled when contacted by WIT prior to officer arrival.

Burglary – Theft From Auto

  • 5/5 – Jennifer St.: RES gained entry to VIC’s locked vehicles overnight by unknown means and stole 180 CDs, a digital camera and a wallet containing gift cards. Loss: $3,365
  • 5/8 – Balfour Rd.: RES broke the window to VIC’s vehicle and stole her purse.
  • 5/13 – Lone Tree Way: Window was smashed by unknown means and a cell phone and lap top stolen.
  • 5/17 – Lone Tree Way: RES shattered front passenger side window of VIC’s vehicle and stole a laptop. Occurred between 05/17-05/18/2014 2100-0014 hours.

DUI

  • 5/6 – Balfour:ARR was stopped for a vehicle code violation and determined to be driving under the influence. ARR was released from the Brentwood Police Department to a parent and the vehicle was stored.
  • 5/7 – Grant St.: ARR fell asleep while driving V-1 and ran off the roadway colliding into a fence. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/8 – Fairview Ave: ARR was driving V-1 at approximately 50mph and collided with cement retaining wall. ARR found to be in possession of loaded firearm. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/11 – Brentwood Blvd: Vehicle was stopped for CVC violation. ARR was DUI and transported to MDF. Vehicle parked.
  • 5/13 –Garin Parkway: ARR driving V-1 rear-ended V-2. ARR was identified as the driver involved in two previous hit and run collisions. ARR was determined to be driving under the influence of drugs. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/14 – Homecoming Way: V-1 collided with V-2 which was pushed into V-3. P-1 was arrested for DUI.
  • 5/14 – McHenry Way: V-1 collided with a landscaping rock. P-1 was arrested for DUI.
  • 5/17 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/17 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF, VEH stored.
  • 5/18 – Balfour Rd.: ARR was driving at an excess speed. ARR was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. ARR was transported to MDF.
  • 5/19 – Redhaven St.: ARR was involved in a non-injury traffic collision and found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.

Fraud

  • 5/5 –Lexington St.: VIC debit/credit card was used at three locations in the Bay Area. Charges totaled $4695.40.
  • 5/13 – Dainty Ave: VIC received a call from a male stating he was from ICE and VIC needed to pay $500 or he would be arrested. VIC wired $500 to Peru.

Grand Theft

  • 5/6 – Lott Dr.: RES called RP and stated he was her grandson and needed to be bailed out of jail. VIC purchased $8000 in reloadit cards to bail her grandson out of jail, however the call was fraudulent.
  • 5/13 – Anastasia Dr: RES’s stole green tool box containing several tools from bed of VIC’s pick-up truck.
  • VIC estimated loss at $7,500. RES’s caught on surveillance video placing item in bed of RES vehicle – Late 90’s white Ford F-150 with lumber rack.
  • 5/14 – Sand Creek Road: SUS stole VIC’S unattended purse.
  • 5/14 – Sycamore Ave: VIC’s unsecured vehicle was entered overnight. Stolen were tools, CD’s and paperwork. Total loss for the incident is $961.
  • 5/18 – Sand Creek Rd: Two male RES entered the business and stole two cellular phones. Estimated value of stolen items $1249.00. RES’ fled in a Silver Chevrolet Impala

H&S Violation

  • 5/21 – Second St: ARR-1 took marijuana brownies to school and gave one to ARR-2. ARR-2 ate one of the marijuana brownies and was unable to care for herself. ARR-1 and ARR-2 were released to their parents on juvenile affidavitts.

Narcotics

  • 5/9 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted sleeping in his vehicle. ARR determined to possess 1.8 grams TPW of suspected methamphetamine and 3 methamphetamine pipes. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/10 – Oak St.: ARR stopped for VC violations and found to be in possession of a controlled substance. ARR to MDF. ARR’s vehicle towed and stored.
  • 5/14 – Foothill Dr.: ARRs were found to be in possession of marijuana for sale on school grounds.
  • 5/21 – Mountain View Dr.: ARR attempted to sell methamphetamine to RP while driving an ice cream truck.

Other Violations

  • 5/11 – Sand Creek Road.: ARR attempted to push past officers after she was given an order to move to another room during a civil standby. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/13 – Kayla Pl: ARR has been repeatedly following and harassing VIC attempting to provoke a fight, which has caused VIC sustained fear. ARR released on signed Juvenile Affidavit.
  • 5/15 – American Ave: INV made statements to other students regarding the methods he would use if he chose to bomb the school (Informational only)

Outside Assist

  • 5/5 – Crossdidge Ct.: RP located her stolen cellphone via a tracking application. RP’s cellphone was located inside a vehicle that INV-3 was sitting in, in front of INV-1’s house.

Petty Theft

  • 5/5 –Boltzen St.: Purse taken from unlocked VEH parked in the driveway of residence. Occurred approximately between 5/4/14 2030 hrs and 5/5/14 0730 hours
  • 5/7 – Crystal Garden Ct.: RP reported that mail was returned to her residence from an anonymous white male adult, who indicated that the mail was found in the creek near her residence.

Robbery

  • 5/13 – Brentwood Blvd: RES took items from business and entered an awaiting vehicle. The driver of the vehicle attempted run over VIC while fleeing the scene. Occurred at approximately 1532 hours.
  • 5/16 – Lone Tree Way: RES1 and RES2 entered Home Depot and stole multiple items. LP agents contacted RES1 and RES2 outside the store. RES2 used pepper spray against the LP agents. Both RES fled in a Blue four door 90’s sedan. Occurred about 1637 hours.

Warrant

  • 5/5 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR found to have an outstanding warrant for burglary (Concord PD). ARR transported to MDF.
  • 5/12 – Walnut Blvd: Vehicle stopped for CVC violation. ARR was found to have a felony no-bail warrant out of Nevada County for 114 PC. ARR to MDF. Vehicle parked.
  • 5/12 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was detained by loss prevention officers for shoplifting and determined to have outstanding arrest warrants. ARR was released on a Promise to Appear.
  • 5/13 – McHenry Way: ARR contacted and determined to have a citable warrant. ARR released on PTA.
  • 5/14 – Second St.: ARR contacted on a traffic stop. ARR determined to have a no bail misdemeanor arrest warrant for 466 PC out of Contra Costa County. ARR to MDF. ARR’s vehicle stored.
  • 5/18 – Lone Tree Way: CIT stopped for VC violation. CIT was driving on suspended DL. ARR cite released on PTA for a 243(a)PC Jaws warrant ($10,000 Bail). VEH stored.
  • 5/18 – Walnut Blvd: Vehicle was stopped for cvc violations and being involved in an altercation. ARR was a passenger in the vehicle and had a warrant for his arrest. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/19 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted at business and found to have a no bail warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/21 – Sherwood Dr.: ARR was contacted pursuant to an outstanding warrant and taken into custody.
  • 5/21 – Gregory Lane: ARR- was contacted and determined to have a outstanding felony warrant from the CCCSO for V.C. 23152(a)/(b) . ARR- was placed under arrest and transported to MDF.
  • 5/22 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation, and found to have an outstanding citable misdemeanor warrant. ARR cited and released on a PTA.

Weapons

  • 5/8 – American Ave: ARR was found to be in possession of a knife, baton, air soft pistol, and marijuana on school grounds.

That crime log is sure getting longer. Apparently Brentwood has a soft spot for criminals. Be warned, that type of tolerance is exactly why Antioch went from a nice safe community to the filthy ghetto, baby Oakland, that it is.

There is no invisible wall stopping them from infesting your town, Brentwood.
