March 23 – April 9: Brentwood Police Calls

The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department March 23 through April 9 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Assault

  • 3/26 – Brentwood Blvd: RP stated she has on going issue with INV harassing her while she is at the shopping center. RP stated INV pushed her from behind. RP did not want prosecution, and asked INV be advised to leave her alone.
  • 3/30 – Second St.: RES battered VIC by an unknown means. Due to the fact that VIC has not been identified RES was released from the scene.
  • 3/30 – Brentwood Blvd: SUS pushed VIC during a civil dispute.
  • 3/31 – Second St.: RES-1 and RES-2 were involved in a physical altercation on school grounds. After the fight, RES-2 and RES-3 contacted RES-1 at Burger King and battered him. No complaint sought.
  • 4/7 – Minnesota Ave: RES pushed VIC from behind, causing VIC to fall and break his arm. Case under investigation.
  • 4/8 – Carrol Ct.: Mutual battery between roommates at a workplace; no prosecution desired.
  • 4/8 – Havenwood: VIC and RES involved in mutual combat while walking home from the park. VIC suffered minor injuries, was medically treated, and released. VIC does not desire prosecution.
  • 4/9 – Brentwood Blvd: RES waited in parking lot for VIC to exit work and then attacked VIC, punching her in the face and back of head. RES fled scene before police arrived. VIC sustained minor abrasions and was cleared by AMR before leaving the scene.

Auto Theft

  • 3/27 – Sand Creek: VIC’s stolen vehicle was recovered in the parking lot of Streets of Brentwood.
  • 3/29 – Caddie Ct.: VIC reported his vehicle was stolen from his driveway sometime during the night. The vehicle was entered into SVS by dispatch.
  • 3/30 – Second St.: Veh was stolen from Liberty HS overnight.
  • 3/30 – Glade St.: Stolen VEH parked on the roadway, recovered.
  • 3/30 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC reported vehicle stolen by an unidentified responsible. CHP-180 completed and vehicle entered into SVS. Loss approximately $500.
  • 3/31 – Emerson: VIC’s vehicle was stolen from outside of his residence. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 4/6 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC reported a gray 88 Ford F250 was stolen from tow yard.
  • 4/7 – Brentwood Blvd: RES stole VIC’s vehicle worth $2200.00. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 4/7 – Griffith Ln: VIC’s vehicle was stolen from street. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 4/7 – Sand Creek Rd: VIC’s vehicle was stolen from parking lot of apartment complex. Vehicle was entered into SVS.
  • 4/7 – Griffith Lane: VIC’s unlocked vehicle was moved from her original parking spot. The keys and her purse were taken from inside vehicle.
  • 4/9 – Marshall Dr.: On 4/9/15, RP reported vehicle was stolen. On 3/25/15, the vehicle was recovered by CHP in an unoccupied collision.

Burglary From Auto

  • 3/29 – Sand Creek: Unknown responsible(s) stole a Ray Ban sunglasses case, an apartment gate opener, a mailbox key, and other miscellaneous items from the victim’s locked vehicle. There was no damage done to the vehicle and no signs of forced entry.
  • 3/31 – Emerson Ln: RES attempted to steal VIC’s vehicle and successfully stole part of the stereo from VIC estimated there was $400 dollars in damages and it would cost $200 dollars to replace the stereo.
  • 4/1 – Brentwood Blvd: VICs vehicle was broken into overnight. A backpack and Ipod were stolen from the vehicle. Total estimated loss is $155.00
  • 4/2 – Mill Creek Way: Unidentified RES forced entry into VIC’s vehicle and stole property.
  • 4/4 – Sand Creek: RES used an unknown tool on the passenger’s door handle to break into VIC’s vehicle. RES stole miscellaneous items from VIC’s vehicle before fleeing the scene.
  • 4/9 – Tachella Way: Locked VEH’s center console and glove box rummaged through. No items taken. Size 10 DC sneakers were left in the VEH. Occurred 4/9/15 between approximately 0200 hours and 0545 hours.

Burglary – Business

  • 4/2 – Sand Creek: RP reported RES entered the business and stole eight pairs of glasses by switching them out with cheaper glasses.
  • 4/2 – Ashford Pl: Fight involving multiple students over a burglary to a residence.
  • 4/2 – Balfour: An unidentified suspect smashed a storefront window to VIC-business and stole $132 cash from within.
  • 4/5 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole cash from cash-safe in business. No signs of forced entry into business.

Burglary – Residential

  • 3/29 – Pear Tree Ct.: VIC’s purse was stolen from inside residence. Unknown RES gained entry via open back door and fled in an unknown direction.
  • 3/29 – Mill Creek Way: RES stole a laptop bag, backpack and purse from VIC’s residence. Stolen items were recovered on a neighbors front yard. Incident occurred on 3/29/2015, between 0945-1000 hours. Unknown point of entry.
  • 3/31 – Royal Ann Ct.: RES-1 and RES-2 attempted to burglarize VIC’s residence, but fled the scene when confronted by VIC. The suspects were then observed approaching the front door of a nearby residence before being chased off by a neighbor.
  • 4/6 – Cypress St.: RES stole Vic’s bicycle from open garage.

DUI

  • 3/25 – Balfour: ARR was reported as DUI driver. ARR contacted and was determined to be DUI. ARR provided breath samples. ARR was determined to be on DUI probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/25 – Central Blvd: ARR was contacted and determined to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/25 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was DUI with. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/27 – Chestnut St.: ARR contacted in running vehicle. ARR determined to be under influence of alcohol. ARR unable to provide breath sample. ARR to MDF
  • 3/27 – Balfour Rd: ARR was found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/27 – Snapdragon Ct.: ARR stopped for vehicle code violation and determined to be driving while under the influence of a alcoholic beverage. ARR to MDF and vehicle towed from scene.
  • 3/28 – Lone Tree Way: ARR stopped for CVC violations and determined to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. ARR to MDF. ARR’s vehicle released to family.
  • 3/29 – Pine St.: ARR stopped for CVC violation and found to be driving under the influence. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/5 – Second St.: ARR was stopped for VC violations and found to be DUI. ARR also had suspended license for DUI conviction. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/7 – Central Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR refused to provide a chemical sample. A search warrant was obtained, and with it a blood sample. ARR to MDF.

Embezzlement

  • 4/5 – First: ARR embezzled approximately $10,000 from the business over two years. ARR released per 849 PC.

Forgery/Counterfeiting

  • 3/23 – Second Street: RES entered business and attempted to purchase items using a counterfeit 100 dollar note. RES turned over note and left the scene.

Fraud/Credit Card/ATM

  • 3/23 – Willow Creek Tr.: RES filed a fraudulent tax return using VIC’s identifying information.
  • 3/23 – Gamay Ln: VIC’s identity and SSN was used to file a fraudulent tax return.
  • 3/25 – Canmore Ct.: Wallet stolen from unlocked vehicle. Credit card used at two locations. Total amount charged is $127.48. Total loss from items stolen is approximately $108.
  • 3/31 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC wired $1500 for a fraudulent sweepstakes.
  • 3/31 – Pacific Grove Ct.: Unknown RES used counterfeit bills to purchase XBOX from VIC. Total loss $300
  • 3/31 – Pacific Grove Ct.: RES used a counterfeit $50 bill to purchase a yogurt.
  • 4/6 – Fitzgerald Way: RES made unauthorized balance transfers to VIC’s credit card. Loss: Approximately $3,000
  • 4/8 – Lone Tree Way: RES obtained and used VIC’s debit card information. The total loss is approximately $891.72. RES has not been identified and is still outstanding.
  • 4/8 – Prominent Dr.: VIC called stating her identity had been compromised. Several accounts had been activated in her name. No monetary loss to VIC. RES unknown at this time.
  • 4/8 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC’s debit card was fraudulently was used in London England. Total loss of $501.42
  • 4/8 – George Ct: VIC’S new ATM card was stolen (possibly from the mailbox) and used to make purchases in Antioch and Brentwood.

Grand Theft

  • 3/23 – Lone Tree Way: Three RES came into Kohl’s and stole approximately $7500 in clothing.
  • 3/24 – Lone Tree Way: RES took a prescription bottle of medication, Apple iPhone 6, $50 and an electronic time clock from the break room. Occurred 3/21/15 between approximately 2020 hours and 2040 hours.
  • 3/30 – Lone Tree Way: VIC left his black bag in a shopping cart. VIC was unable to locate bag when he returned. Loss of $3000 and misc. personal items.
  • 4/9 – Breakwater Way: VIC’s property taken out of unlocked vehicle overnight. Total loss approximately $2000.

H&S Violation

  • 3/27 – Chestnut: ARR- was located in the middle of the roadway and determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance. ARR- to MDF.
  • 4/9 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR-1 was contacted and deemed to be under the influence of CNS stimulant. ARR-2 was on felony probation and was found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe. ARR-1 and ARR-2 transported to MDF.

Narcotics Violation

  • 3/29 – O’Hara Ave: ARR contacted near the railroad tracks and found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 4/2 – Central Blvd: ARR’s were contacted during a theft investigation. ARR’s were found in possession of drug paraphernalia, controlled narcotics, and a concealed switch blade. Stolen property returned to VIC. ARR’s to MDF.
  • 4/7 – Brentwood Blvd: Cite-1 stopped for expired registration and found to have no license or proof of insurance. Cite-2 found to be in possession of marijuana. Vehicle towed for registration in excess of six months. Cite-1 and Cite-2 issued Promise to Appear.
  • 4/8 – Fruitwood CM: ARR was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was driving with a suspended driver’s license. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/9 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was stopped on a suspicious vehicle stop. ARR found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR to MDF.

Outside Assist

  • 4/3 – Bypass: APD and CHP involved in vehicle pursuit. Spike strips effectively deployed on SUS vehicle. Subsequently 1 APD, 1 BPD car and one CHP car suffered flat tires due to broken spike strip.

Parole/Probation Violations

  • 3/31 – Havenwood: ARR was contacted during a family dispute. ARR was intoxicated and in violation of his probation terms. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/2 – California Trail: INV contacted during welfare check, found too intoxicated to care for himself. INV transported to Sutter via AMR.

Petty Theft

  • 3/23 – Lone Tree Way: RES-1 and RES-2 stole equipment during a “grab and run” from Home Depot on 3/22/15 at 1938 hours. Loss valued at approximately $638.
  • 3/23 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole equipment during a “grab and run” from Home Depot on 3/22/15 at 1544 hours. Loss valued at approximately $329.
  • 3/25 – Brentwood Blvd: RES stole two drills and fled in RES vehicle. Total loss: $477.38
  • 3/29 – Sand Creek: RES entered store and took pair of Nike shoes with approx. $150.
  • 4/1 – Balfour: ARR 1, 2 & 3 were seen inside business concealing merchandise. All three exited the store without paying for items stolen. ARR 1, 2 & 3 were released on a Promise to Appear. Value of items stolen/ recovered is $102.
  • 4/2 – Lone Tree Way: RES-1 ran out of the store with a drill and got into a vehicle that RES-2 was driving.
  • 4/5 – Balfour: RES broke locks to arcade games and stole approximately $200 in quarters.
  • 4/6 – Second St.: RES stole an estimated $200 in alcohol from the business and fled the scene.
  • 4/6 – Oak St.: Unidentified suspect made a withdrawal of $400 through the ATM machine using VIC’s debit card information. Occurred 4/3/15 at approximately 1544 hours.
  • 4/7 – Brentwood Blvd: SUS shoplifted approximately 4 DVD’s without paying.
  • 4/9 – Birch St.: RP’s sons bicycle was stolen from the front porch of their residence.
  • 4/9 – Tartarian Ct.: RES made entry into VIC’s vehicle by an unknown means. The loss included a black ipod nano, a black and grey Swiss-Army backpack, and a pair of brown Oakley Gas-Can sunglasses. OCC’d 1200-0800 hours

Restraining Order Violation

  • 3/24 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole merchandise from VIC business valued at $39.97. RES had three outstanding arrest warrants, and is on felony probation for ADW. RES was also in the company of VIC-2, whom he is restrained from.

Robbery

  • 3/31 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stole display case and bit VIC.
  • 4/4 – Balfour: ARR1, ARR2, and a 3rd suspect shoplifted from the VIC-business. A clerk intervened and was battered. All 3 fled the area, and two were later captured in the City of Antioch.

Vandalism

  • 3/25 – Second St.: Classroom window smashed. No RES info.
  • 3/26 – Linda St.: Vehicle window smashed during the night. No items were missing from the vehicle. Estimated damage of $200.
  • 3/26 – Craig Ct.: VIC claims that INV-1 threw eggs at her residence causing $100 damage.
  • 3/27 – Tresch Ave: Unknown responsible(s) used black spray paint to write words on a sound wall near the trail. The graffiti appeared to be gang related.
  • 3/30 – Sand Creek Rd: RES vandalized a business sign by spray-painting a name.
  • 3/31 – Sycamore: INV-1 and INV-2 broke each others televisions during an argument. Involved parties did not desire prosecution.
  • 4/2 – Minnesota Ave: Responsible used a pink marker to write on PG&E High Voltage Box.
  • 4/3 – Sand Creek: Unknown responsible(s) used white spray paint to deface the tunnel of the Marsh Creek Trail. The graffiti consisted of illegible lines; it did not appear to be gang related.
  • 4/4 – Second St.: Unknown responsible(s) used white spray paint to write explicit words and symbols on the baseball field of Liberty High School.
  • 4/6 – Lone Tree Way: Window on the west side of the business shattered. Occurred between approximately 4/5/15 2200 hours and 4/615 0730 hours.
  • 4/7 – Second St.: Between 04/02/15 and 04/07/15, RES entered school property and broke planters.

Warrant

  • 3/27 – Lone Tree Way (outside-Felony): ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to have felony warrant in JAWS. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/28 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR stopped for CVC violations and found to have two outside misdemeanor warrants. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/30 – Elkins Way: ARR and RES contacted. ARR found to have a non-citable warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/3 – Brentwood Bl: ARR was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. Transported and booked at M.D.F.
  • 4/3 – Brentwood Bl: ARR was stopped due to a CVC violation. ARR was found to have a warrant for 23103 CVC. ARR was released on a PTA.
  • 4/6 – Bypass: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR had warrant in JAWS. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/6 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted an found to have a no cite warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/8 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted during a suspicious vehicle stop. ARR found to have an outstanding warrant. ARR to MDF
  • 4/9 – Lone Tree Way: ARR had outstanding no bail Parole arrest warrant and he was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. ARR was booked at MDF.

Weapons Violation

  • 3/24 – Marsh Creek Road: ARR- was contacted during a suspicious circumstance and was determined to be in possession of a billy club. ARR- released from the scene on a signed PTA.
