March 18-29: Balfour Road Pavement Rehabilitation Continues

BRENTWOOD, CA – As construction of the Balfour Road Interchange project comes to completion, the City of Brentwood and Contra Costa Transportation Authority are partnering together, as a result of Mayor Taylor’s efforts, to perform additional pavement repairs on Balfour Road.

The limits of this work are between Minnesota Avenue and Fairview Avenue, and between East Country Club Drive and the western City limits.

While some work has already begun in preparation for the new pavement, the bulk of the pavement repair is scheduled to occur between Monday, March 18th and Friday, March 29th, while local schools are closed for Spring Break. Drivers should expect temporary lane closures and/or detours during this time.
