At approximently 8:00 pm Sunday, the Brentwood Police Department responded to a report of an assault at Brentwood Blvd. and Village Drive in the City of Brentwood.
Upon arrival, police located a male who had been stabbed multiple times and was treated by East Contra Costa Fire Protection District firefighters and AMR. A medical helicopter was requested.
According to East Contra Costa Fire Protection District Captain Larry Bennett, the patient was a 41-year-old male who was on stabbed 4 times with twice to the chest, 1 to the arm, 1 to the face and was airlifted to a local hospital by medical helicopter. He could not confirm if a suspect was in custody.
No other information was released.
