Lumpys Diner: Police, Fire and Paramedics Eat Free Today

lumpy

Lumpy’s Diner is doing its part to honor emergency personnel on the 12th anniversary of 9/11. He put out the following message last night inviting first responders to eat today.

Everyone remembers where they were on 9/11. It was a horrific day in our country’s history. The men and women who serve and protect us risk their lives daily. In honor of their sacrifice, ALL firefighters, police, and paramedics eat free at Lumpy’s Diner in Antioch tomorrow! It’s just our little way of saying thank you for all you do for all of us!”

Lumpy says its the least he do and his way of showing respect to those that serve the community.

“I’m a proud American and this day should touch all Americans the way it does me and for that we remember watching all the firemen police and paramedics work endless hours and put there life’s on the line for me my family our customers and our American freedom and this is my way of showing respect to the people that do what I don’t,” says Lumpy.

This is such a nice gesture from Lumpy’s but don’t forget our Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, they also deserve to be honor on this day 9/11

Thanks for pointing that out DeeDee. My nephew just went back to Afghanland for his 3rd or 4th tour. Too many, I lost count. Fellow National Guard members are still going there as well. Lumpy does a great job in giving back to the community, and we hope to be able to do the same.
