I am writing to offer my full support to Karen Rarey for the Brentwood City Council. I have known and worked with Karen both at The Brentwood Press and with several non-profit organizations for nearly 20 years, and she has proven herself tireless in advocating for truth and the benefit of the community
Karen and I have not always agreed on everything, but once a direction has been determined, she has wholeheartedly applied herself to the task of making it a reality. This represents two of her best qualities: She is not only both forceful and well-informed in making her points, but also willing to accept and participate effectively in implementing the ultimate decision, even if things did not go entirely her way.
In selecting a representative for the city, I believe we should choose someone like Karen who will contribute original, well thought-out ideas and fight for them, but who knows when to compromise in order to achieve the best possible outcome for those she represents.
Please join me in voting for Karen Rarey for Brentwood City Council on Nov. 8.
