July 17 – 26: Brentwood Police Calls

The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department July 17-26 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Assault

  • 7/21 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC reported being assaulted by co-worker.
  • 7/22 – Dill Ct.: VIC-1 and VIC-2 were assaulted inside their home during a home invasion.
  • 7/23 – Lundin Ln: VIC was assaulted by ARR. VIC was treated at Kaiser DVH for injury to head.

Auto Theft

  • 7/19 – Hedge Ave: Vic Siad GRN 1998 ACURA was stolen
  • 7/26 – Summerset Dr.: RES stole golf cart and rolled it into Marsh Creek. Golf cart entered and removed from SVS.
  • 7/26 – Second St.: RES took VEH-1 and VEH-2 without owners consent. VEH-1 was located and VEH-2 is still outstanding.
  • 7/26 – Sycamore Ave: RES took VEH-1 without permission.
  • 7/26 – Pearson Dr.: VEH stolen from in front of VIC house while VIC was on vacation.

Burglary – Business

  • 7/23 – Lone Tree Way: Unknown RES removed glass door and removed cash register. VIC estimated loss at $500.
  • 7/23 – Lone Tree Way: RES attempted to gain entry into business through front door. No entry made
    Burglary – Residential
  • 7/17 – Boone Dr: VIC’s residence was broken into through a rear window and jewelry was taken.
  • 7/20 – Nassau Lane: RES forced entry into residence and stole an IPod.
  • 7/25 – Ellen Ln: Residential burglary occurred between 7/22/15 and 7/25/2015. Entry via unlocked rear door. Unknown loss at this time.

Burglary – Theft from Auto

  • 7/17 – Cesar Chavez Dr: VIC’S vehicle was broken into and stereo was stolen during 07/15/15 and 07/17/15.
  • 7/19 – Lone Tree Way: ARR-1, ARR-2 and ARR-3 were contacted and found to be in possession of stolen property. ARR-1, ARR-2 and ARR-3 transported
  • 7/21 – Duffy Way: VIC stated he saw a WMA enter his unlocked vehicle. When VIC yelled at RES, RES fled to an awaiting vehicle and fled scene. VIC stated nothing was taken from vehicle.
  • 7/21 – Mesquite Ct.: VEH’s passenger side window shattered, no items taken. Occurred between 7/20/15 approximately 2100 hours and 7/21/15 approximately 0700 hours.
  • 7/21 – Central Blvd: Locked VEH had laptop, camera and miscellaneous personal items taken by unidentified responsible(s). No signs of forced entry. Occurred between 7/18/15 1100 hours and 7/19/15 1000 hours.
  • 7/23 – Lone Tree Way: VEH’s rear driver’s side window shattered by unidentified responsible(s). Gaming
    console, game controller and video game taken. Occurred between 7/22/15 approximately
    2330 hours and 7/23/15 approximately 0630 hours.

DUI

  • 7/19 – Rampart Way: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR determined to be intoxicated. ARR provided chemical sample. ARR to MDF
  • 7/22 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted for VCOO violations. ARR found too intoxicated to operate motor vehicle. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/23 – North Main St.: ARR was stopped for a vehicle code violation and was found to be driving with a suspended license for DUI. ARR was cited and released from the scene. ARR’s vehicle was parked in a off street parking facility.
  • 7/23 – Applewood CM: ARR rear-ended a vehicle and fled from the scene. ARR was located by officers and found to be DUI. ARR arrested and transported to MDF. No injuries reported.
  • 7/26 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for vehicle code violation, and determined to be driving while under the influence of a alcoholic beverage. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/26 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted sleeping in vehicle at a stop sign. ARR was determined to be DUI. ARR provided chemical sample.

Forgery/Counterfeiting

  • 7/21 – Cerritos Rd: ARR found making fictitious checks and in possession of stolen property. ARR to MDF.

Grand Theft

  • 7/19 – Griffith Lane: VIC said he had change and cash stolen from his unlocked vehicle.
    7/22 – Cortona Way: VIC’S jewelry stolen.
  • 7/24 – Lone Tree Way: RES tricked VIC into giving him $2000 in a scam.
    Indecent Exposure
  • 7/20 – Fairview Ave: RES exposed himself to VIC while driving alongside her.

Narcotic Drug Law Violations

  • 7/23 – Dahlia Dr: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were contacted in regards to a suspicious circumstance. ARR-1 had a warrant for his arrest and was in possession of narcotics for sales. ARR-2 also had a warrant for his arrest and was in possession of narcotics. ARR-1 and ARR-2 to MDF. Vehicle stored and entered into SVS.
  • 7/26 – Sunrise Dr.: Police responded to a medical call where INV overdosed on narcotics. Medical attention was provided to INV and suspected methamphetamine and heroin were taken for destruction
    pursuant to 11376.5(b) H&S.

Petty Theft

  • 7/20 – O’Hara Ave: UNK RES observed checking door handles and believed to have stolen $18 and a Verizon brand phone charger, purple cord, from an unlocked VEH. UNK RES was wearing blk hooded
    sweatshirt and pants and last see running south on Ohara Ave.
  • 7/20 – Brentwood Blvd: UNK RES stole keys and Iphone 6 from VEH which was left unattended and running info of JK Market.

Robbery

  • 7/21 – Lone Tree Way: 4- RES’s entered business by force brandishing two separate firearms and stole cash from the register and zig-zags. RES’s left the area on foot.

Warrant

  • 7/19 – La Pergola Dr.: ARR was contacted at his residence during a warrant service and taken into custody. ARR was transported to Juvenile Hall where he was booked.
  • 7/25 – Littlejohn Way: ARR was contacted and found to have an outstanding citable warrant for 23152(b) CVC. ARR released on a promise to appear.

Weapons Violations

  • 7/24 – O’Hara: ARR-1 stopped for VC violations. ARR-1 found to be in possession of concealed firearm.
    ARR-2 was too intoxicated to care for his own safety. ARR-3 was in violation of probation and was to intoxicated to care for his own safety. ARR-1 and ARR-3 to MDF. ARR-2 released from BPD on a Juv. Affd. AR…
