January 18 – 31: Brentwood Police Calls

The following are a sampling of calls handled by Brentwood Police between January 18-31 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

 

Assault

  • 1/18 – Sand Creek Rd: RES-1, 2, 3 fled nail salon without paying. RES-1 punched VIC in the face when VIC tried to stop them.
  • 1/20 – Lone Tree Way: VIC was pepper sprayed by an unknown male. VIC transported to Sutter Delta.
  • 1/20 – Schilling Ct.: RES-1 and RES-2 pushed each other. No prosecution desired.
  • 1/20 – Broderick Dr.: ARR kicked VIC during an argument and was in violation of probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/21 – Dainty Ave.: INV-1 and INV-2 were involved in a physical altercation and neither wished to pursue charges.
  • 1/22 – Balfour: ARR was intoxicated and struck VIC after a dispute. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/22 – Oak St.: VIC was in a physical altercation with RES-1 and RES-2. RES-1 and RES-2 fled the scene upon Officers arrived. VIC refused medical attention on scene.
  • 1/25 – O’Hara Ave: VIC stabbed in left lung by RES. RES fled scene prior to police arrival. VIC transported to JMMC. VIC sustained non-life threating injuries.
  • 1/29 – Oak St.: VIC was stabbed by RES after a dispute.
  • 1/29 – Lone Tree Way: RES’ punched VIC in the face multiple times during an altercation after leaving the bar. VIC has visible injury to his left eye.
  • 1/29 – Lone Tree Way: RES pulled VIC’s arm and made vague threats to VIC.
  • 1/31 – Sand Creek Rd: VIC said he was jumped on Fri, 012717, at the Streets of Brentwood shopping center and on Tues, 013017 at Edna Hill Middle School. He did not want prosecution of the RES(s).

 

Attempted Homicide

  • 1/30 – Medallion Dr: RES fired multiple rounds that struck VIC-1, who was then transported to John Muir, Walnut Creek. Several rounds also struck VIC-2 and VIC-3 vehicles and residence.

Auto Recovered

  • 1/28 – Hoffman Lane: ARR-1 was contacted while driving a stolen vehicle. ARR-2 was in possession of stolen property. ARR-1 to MDF and ARR-2 released on a NTA.

 

Auto Theft

  • 1/19 – Campania Ct.: VIC suspected that SUS took her keys from her home and subsequently stole her vehicle. Subaru Outback, blue, was entered into SVS.
  • 1/19 – Brentwood Blvd: Victim’s vehicle was taken from parking lot of 7820 Brentwood Blvd. Vehicle was locked when parked.
  • 1/26 – O’Hara Ave: RES failed to return vehicle to rental car company. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 1/29 – Lone Tree Way: UNK RES broke window to VEH and stole gym bag.
  • 1/29 – Lone Tree Way: UNK RES broke window to VEH stole backpack.

 

Burglary – Theft from Auto

  • 1/21 – Compaglia Cir: RES entered VIC’S locked vehicle and stole VIC’S property (men’s cologne, underwear, and binoculars). Estimated loss is $177 in property.
  • 1/21 – Orbetello Ct.: RES-1 and RES-2 entered VIC’s unlocked vehicles and stole a bowling ball, gym bag and house keys.
  • 1/22 – McClarren Rd: Lock cut on Trailer. Unknown if items taken.
  • 1/22 – Brentwood Blvd: VEHs tool boxes pried open over night. Power tools taken. Loss $1200.
  • 1/22 – Lone Tree way: Unknown RES broke into vehicle and stole VIC’s purse. Total loss approximately $6,100.
  • 1/31 – Lone Tree Way: Vehicle window shattered and cell phone stolen (Occ’d 01/31 0920-0925 hrs.).

 

Burglary – Business

  • 1/25 – Lone tree Way: Cash and pillows stolen from business (Occ’d 01/24-01/25 2000-0955 hrs.)
  • 1/26 – Second St.: ARR-1 and 2 contacted after alarm activation and found to be in possession of stolen property, burglary tools, controlled substance and paraphernalia. ARR-1 and 2 transported to MDF.
  • 1/26 – Brentwood Blvd: Cash box and sewer machine taken from locked business between 01/19/2017-01/20/2017. No signs of forced entry. Loss is approximately $1,500.
  • 1/27 – Sand Creek Rd: RES pried the doors to offices inside the building overnight.
  • 1/29 – Balfour: RES broke window to business and pried open vending machines and massage chairs. Loss unknown. Occurred 01/28/2017 1820hours-01/29/2017 0700 hours.
  • 1/29 – Brentwood Blvd: RES shattered front door of business and stole cash drawer. Occd. 1/28/17 at 2308 hours.

 

Burglary – Other

  • 1/19 – Walnut Blvd: Laundry room door at Walnut Acres pried open. Unknown if items were taken.
  • 1/19 – Reserve Dr.: Responsible shattered rear window and removed two televisions from model home.

 

Burglary – Residential

  • 1/25 – Grant St.: RES used unknown force to attempt to enter through locked front door. Deadbolt jammed not allowing door to open.
  • 1/29 – Fairview Ave: RES forced entry into VIC’s front door and stole several car parts and electronics.
    Total loss approximately $7,000.00
  • 1/30 – Ashbourne Pl: Unknown RES smashed rear glass door and entered residence. No loss at this time.

 

Drunk

  • 1/19 – Almond Dr.: ARR was contacted at the business and found to be too intoxicated to care for himself. ARR was transported to MDF for booking.
  • 1/25 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR was contacted in public and determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself.
  • 1/25 – Salice Way: ARR contacted and found to be too intoxicated to care for himself. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/29 – Big Basin Dr.: ARR was determined to be to intoxicated to care for himself. ARR to MDF.

 

Drunk Driver (DUI)

  • 1/26 – Balfour Rd: ARR fled from Officers after a vehicle code violation. ARR subsequently yielded and found to be DUI and in possession of narcotics paraphernalia. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/30 – Dainty Ave: ARR collided with two parked vehicles. Later determined to be under the influence and transported to MDF.

 

Fraud/Credit Card / ATM

  • 1/18 – Continente Ave: Unknown RES’ used false pretenses to make an online purchase from VIC.
  • 1/19 – Lone Tree Way: RES attempted to use VIC’s personal identifying information in order to make charges to his store account.
  • 1/19 – Lone Tree Way: ARR-1,2,3, and 4 contacted after VC violation. ARR-2,3, and 4 found to be in possession of stolen property and fraudulent access cards. ARR-3 found to be in possession of a loaded hand gun and controlled substance. ARR-2,3, and 4 to MDF. ARR- 1 found to be in possession of a stun gun and released …

 

Grand Theft

  • 1/19 – Sycamore Ave: Unknown responsible(s) forced entry into a backyard and stole a generator and five bicycles.
  • 1/21 – Claremont Dr.: VIC’s back pack and camera bag were stolen from Creekside park. Approximate loss of $1200.00
  • 1/21 – Sand Creek Rd: Three unknown RES entered store and stole 28 items totaling a loss of $1308.
  • 1/26 – Newton Dr.: 2 RES’s stole package from porch.
  • 1/31 – Brentwood Blvd: Unknown RES used VIC’s identity to withdraw $15,400 from VIC’s savings account in a Chase Bank located in Atascadero, CA.
  • 1/31 – Sand Creek Rd: RES1 and RES2 entered business and cut security cables to display cellphones, then fled the business. Total Loss $2,349.96.

 

H&S Violation

  • 1/18 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted during suspicious vehicle check found to be in possession of suspected narcotics/paraphernalia. ARR also found to be on probation. ARR released on NTA.

 

Narcotic Drug Law Violation

  • 1/19 – Oak St.: ARR contacted during a mutual encounter. ARR found to be in possession of methamphetamine. ARR released on a signed NTA.
  • 1/21 – Chestnut St.: ARR contacted during a suspicious vehicle stop and was in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR released on a NTA.
  • 1/26 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR and INV-1 stopped for VC violations. ARR found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, suspected methamphetamine, and burglary tools. ARR released on a NTA.

 

Other Violations

  • 1/21 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR was contacted for his erratic behavior and fought with officers. VIC sustained minor injuries during the altercation. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/21 – Torrey Pines Dr.: RES used VIC’s identifying information to gain access to a charge account and attempted to make a charge.
  • 1/26 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted for a CVC violation. ARR falsely identified himself as VIC and was found to be on felony probation and had two felony warrants. Vehicle was stored . ARR to MDF.
  • 1/27 – Second St.: ARR refused to leave Liberty HS campus. ARR was later arrested for resisting and delaying the investigation.

 

Outside Assist

  • 1/20 – Fallsburg Ct.: INV 1 was bitten by his dog. INV 1 and INV 2 transported to Kaiser by AMR. Animal control advised.

 

Petty Theft

  • 1/18 – Balfour Rd: RES’s entered the business and took items without paying.
  • 1/18 – Balfour Rd: Stolen mail from 16 different residences was turned in as found property.
  • 1/19 – Balfour Rd: Unknown RES stole $300 worth of baby formula from store.
  • 1/19 – Walnut Blvd: VEH-1 was left unlocked. VIC’s wallet with multiple credit cards and CDL was taken.
  • 1/19 – Sand Creek Rd: Two RES’s stole six pairs of shoes and fled in a white vehicle.
  • 1/20 – Second St.: ARR stole alcohol from business and was contacted by police in possession of the alcohol. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/20 – Gann St.: A brown UPS box was taken from VIC’s porch within six minutes of delivery. Total loss
    was approximately $500
  • 1/21 – Lone Tree Way: Unknown RES put an item in her purse and left the store without paying. Total loss $300.
  • 1/25 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole VIC’s wallet and used his debit card at a gas station in Antioch.
  • 1/26 – Las Colinaas Dr.: Mail has been intermittently stolen from victim’s mail box over the last three weeks.
  • 1/27 – Brentwood Blvd: Rear CA license plate was stolen in between 1-23-17 and 1-26-17. Unknown responsible. Plate entered into SVS.
  • 1/27 – Second St.: RES took 3 bottls of alcohol and left without paying. Total loss approximately $90
  • 1/27 – Lone Tree Way: RES’s took cellphones from locker and fled scene.
  • 1/28 – Hanson Lane: RES took package off of VIC’s porch and it was returned the following day.
  • 1/30 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR made false returns to obtain approximately $670 in store credit. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 1/30 – Shadowcliff Way: Responsible broke into a common mail box for eight residences and took mail.
  • 1/31 – Vale Ct.: Unknown responsible(s) stole gasoline from a vehicle.
  • 1/31 – Sand Creek Rd: Unknown RES stole $900 in cash from the store’s cash register.

 

Robbery

  • 1/19 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole items and when contacted by VIC at the door of the business he pushed VIC and fled in a black vehicle.
  • 1/28 – Lexington Ct.: RES’s entered VIC’s residence and robbed her at gunpoint taking a large quantity of marijuana, a Michael Kors purse, several cellular telephones and $100.

 

Trespassing

  • 1/21 – Diablo Way: ARR-1, ARR-2, ARR-3 were seen breaking into a vacant residence. ARR’s located inside residence and arrested. All three ARR’s to MDF.
  • 1/31 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR at location in violation of a trespass admonishment. ARR released on a PTA.

 

Vandalism

  • 1/18 – Village Dr.: RES “tagged” the interior of the apartment complex laundry room. Damage is estimated at $100.
  • 1/28 – Lone Tree Way: Unknown RES broke into vending machine. Total estimated damage $1,000.00. Unknown loss.

 

Warrant Arrest

  • 1/29 – Bamboo Dr.: ARR was contacted and determined to have a warrant for his arrest (466 pc). ARR to
    MDF.

 

Weapons Violation

  • 1/21 – Fletcher Lane: ARR struck a BPD patrol vehicle head on. ARR was found to be in possession of a stolen and loaded firearm. ARR to MDF.

Maybe the City of Brentwood should stop focusing on its own fire department and instead focus on getting more police officers and tools to prevent Antioch from happening.
