The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between  January 28 through February 8 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Assault

  • 1/30 – Lone Tree: VIC REPORTED RIDING BICYCLE IN ALLEY BEHIND STRAW HAT PIZZA, AND BEING CONFRONTED BY A TRANSIENT MALE, 30 YRS OLD, SHOULDER LENGTH HAIR AND SCRUFFY BEARD. RES DEMANDED CASH, KNOCKED OVER VIC AND CUT VIC’S LEG WITH UNKNOWN OBJECT, POSSIBLY KNIFE. NOTHING STOLEN, VIC PULLED OUT KNIFE AND RES FLED ARE…
  • 1/30 – Orchard Dr.: INV-1 and ARR involved in civil issue. ARR too intoxicated to care for her own safety. ARR also battered VIC. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/1 – Sycamore: INV-1 engaged in a fight with RES. INV-1 released to the custody of her mother.

Auto Theft

  • 1/30 – Ellesmere Ct.: VIC reported RES stole VIC’S vehicle during the night. RES had stolen VIC’S keys earlier in the night from the bowling alley when VIC’S other vehicle was broken into. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 2/1 – Caddie Ct.: VIC had vehicle stolen from his driveway between 1/31/15 2300 hours- 2/1/15 1111 hours. 2012 Honda Civic, 4-door. Vehicle entered into SVS. No RES info.
  • 2/1 – Balfour: RES took VIC’s vehicle without permission. Vehicle entered in SVS.
  • 2/6 – Sand Creek: VIC’s vehicle was stolen from parking lot. Occurred from 02/06/15 2030 hours to 02/07/15 0030 hours. Vehicle entered into SVS.

Burglary from Auto

  • 1/28 – Sand Creek Rd: Unknown RES’ smashed window of VIC’s vehicle and stole approximately $3,000 worth of cigarettes.
  • 1/29 – Balfour: RES broke into two separate VICs vehicles, smashing their windows and stole a backpack and two cell phones.
  • 1/30 – Lone Tree: VIC REPORTED PARKING VEHICLE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF RED WING SHOES AT APPROX 930 HOURS. PASSERBY ENTERED STORE TO TELL VIC WINDOW HAD BEEN SMASHED. LAPTOP, CHARGER AND NOTEBOOK STOLEN. OCCURED 930 TO 955.
  • 1/30 – Lone Tree: VIC’s van was broken into while parked in the KOHLS parking lot. Rear passenger side sliding door window was shattered. Purse and other misc. items taken. No RES info.
  • 2/1 – Caddie Ct.: Unknown responsible(s) stole a Milwaukee drill and Toyota paperwork from victim’s locked vehicle. Occurred from approximately 01/31/2015 at 1800 hours, to 02/01/2015 at 1000 hours.
  • 2/1 – Brentwood Blvd: RES shattered VIC’s vehicle window and stole two laptop computers and computer equipment.
  • 2/3 – Connor way: Two VEHs parked in the driveway of residence, had miscellaneous personal items and loose change taken from VEH. Occurred between 2/2/15 at approximately 1700 hours and 2/3/15 at approximately 0800 hours.
  • 2/5 – Lone Tree: VICs wallet stolen from vehicle while it was parked ifo business. Unknown if vehicle was locked.

Burglary – Residential

  • 1/28 – Queen Palm Lane: RES-1 and RES-2 forced entry into unoccupied model home by kicking in the front door. RES’s fled on foot from police and were not located.
  • 1/30 – Sunlight Dr.: UNKNOWN SUBJECT ATTEMPTED TO ENTER RESIDENCE BY SMASHING REAR WINDOW. RP WAS ARRIVING HOME AND HEARD ROCK SMASH WINDOW AT APPROXIMATELY 1045 HOURS. NO ONE SEEN. RP FLED TO NEIGHBOR’S HOUSE TO REPORT. NOTHING STOLEN, NO ENTRY MADE INTO RESIDENCE.
  • 1/30 – Putter Dr.: RES entered into VIC’S home through an unlocked rear door and stole VIC’S property (clothing, electronics, and jewelry). (01/30/2015 1100-1125)
  • 1/30 – St. Michaels Way: RP CALLED STATING HER FRONT DOOR HAD BEEN KICKED IN. AFTER CLEARING HOUSE, NOTHING APPEARED TO BE MISSING. FRONT DOOR WAS CLOSED WHEN SHE ARRIVED HOME, BUT UNLOCKED. OCCURRED BETWEEN 1150 AND 1235. RP STATED SHE SAW 2 BMA’S NEAR THE HOUSE WHEN SHE ARRIVED HOME, ONE RAN ACROSS THE STREET.
  • 1/30 – Mediterraneo way: VIC REPORTED SIDE WINDOW SCREEN KICKED IN AT APPROXIMATELY 1200 HOURS. VARIOUS FAMILY HEIRLOOM JEWELRY TAKEN. NO WINDOW DAMAGE, ONLY SCREEN. ReLATED TO SIMILAR 459.
  • 2/1 – Presidio Dr.: RES forced entry into the garage through a locked side door and stole VIC’S vehicle. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 2/1 – Arch Ct.: RES ENTERED VIC’S GARAGE AND STOLE A MOUNTAIN BIKE.
  • 2/1 – Merion Ct.: VIC had side garage door kicked in between 1/30/15 0500 hrs- 2/1/15 1200 hours by an unidentified RES. VIC checked residence and reported no missing property.
  • 2/2 – Spyglass Dr: RES smashed the rear sliding glass door. RES stole 2 video game consoles and I-pad. Incident occurred on 2/2/15 between 0730-1520 hours.
  • 2/5 – Berkshire Ln: RES attempted to pull off screen to window of residence. Entry to the residence was not made by RES.

Drunk

  • 1/28 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was in a public place and intoxicated to the point he was unable to care for his own safety or the safety of others. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/31 – Rockwell St.: ARR contacted during investigation of man passed out in vehicle with car horn sounding. ARR determined to be too intoxicated to car for himself. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/31 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted and determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/31 – Minnesota Ave: ARR found sleeping on the sidewalk. ARR determined to be intoxicated and unable to care for himself. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/1 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was to intoxicated to care for himself. ARR transported to MDF.
  • 2/3 – Valley Green Dr: ARR was extremely intoxicated and damaged property inside her residence. ARR also damaged a neighbor’s fence when fleeing the residence. ARR was on felony probation for DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/5 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was found to be unable to care for himself due to intoxication. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/5 – Sand Creek: ARR was intoxicated in public and transported to MDF.

 
Drunk Driver (DUI)

  • 1/28 – Balfour: ARR vehicle stopped for CVC violation. ARR was DUI and transported to MDF. ARR vehicle parked on scene.
  • 1/30 – Garin Parkway: ARR was contacted sleeping at a red light. ARR determined to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/1 – Rossano St.: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/4 – Lone Tree Way: ARR vehicle stopped for CVC violation. ARR was DUI and transported to MDF. ARR vehicle parked.
  • 2/4 – Sycamore Ave: ARR and INV were in an argument. ARR refused all assistance in leaving the area and was so intoxicated he was danger to himself and others. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/6 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation and found to be under the influence of alcohol. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 2/6 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for CVC violations. ARR was determined to be driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/7 – Sand Creek: RP called to report that ARR was heavily intoxicated inside the store and acting aggressive towards store employees. ARR attempted to drive away in her vehicle but was stopped by security. ARR later determined to be intoxicated and unable to care for her own safety. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/7 – Sweet Grass Dr.: ARR contacted during traffic accident. ARR found to be under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF
  • 2/7 – Fairview: ARR was stopped for CVC violation. ARR determined to be under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/8 – Balfour – ARR contacted and determined to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, and unable to care for himself. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/8 – Adams: ARR contacted after VC violation. ARR determined to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. ARR to MDF.

Embezzlement

  • 2/2 – Lone Tree: Employees suspected of stealing money from safe at location.

Fraud

  • 1/29 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC came to PD to report that Comcast and PG&E accounts had been opened in San Ramon in her name.
  • 1/30 – Balfour: VIC bought a Green Dot MoneyPak from Walgreens and placed $70 on it for her granddaughter. When granddaughter went to access the card no money was left on card.
  • 1/30 – Lone Tree: RES used VIC’s identity for a cash advance at Bank of America.
  • 1/30 – Brentwood Blvd: RP WORKING FOR WINCO STATED RES PASSED BAD CHECKS AT SEVERAL WINCO LOCATIONS IN CA AND NV. 2 CHECKS WERE PASSED AT WINCO ON LTW.
  • 1/30 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC stated RES opened a verizon wireless account in her name in another state.
  • 2/2 – Lakeview Dr.: VIC’S account information used to make purchases in Antioch and Pittsburg.
  • 2/4 – Brentwood Blvd: RES stole check from VIC mailbox then cashed stolen check.
  • 2/4 – Sand Creek: RES attempted to make a purchase with counterfeit $20.00 bills.
  • 2/5 – Brentwood Blvd: RES used VIC’s ATM card in Antioch to make several fraudulent check deposits and cash withdrawals.

Grand Theft

  • 1/30 – Cristina Way: Unknown responsible(s) stole two catalytic converters from the victim’s Toyota Sequoia. Occurred from approximately 01/23/2015 at 1500 hours, to 01/30/2015 at 0630 hours.
  • 2/5 –Finn Way: Catalytic Converters taken from Veh overnight. Estimated loss $3,000.
  • 2/5 – Rockwell St.: Unknown responsible(s) stole a catalytic converter from a Toyota Sequoia. Occurred from approximately 02/04/2015 at 2100 hours, to 02/05/2015 at 1630 hours.

H&S Violation

  • 1/28 – Balfour: ARR contacted during reported unwanted guest complaint and determined to be under the influence of CNS stimulant. ARR to MDF.

Miscellaneous Information

  • 1/31 – Thomas Ct.: INV posted a tweet on twitter saying that he was going to discharge a firearm at Liberty High School.

Narcotics Violation

  • 1/30 – Fairview Way: ARR1 and ARR2 were under the influence of a CNS stimulant, in possession of suspected methamphetamine, and in possession of paraphernalia. ARR1 and ARR2 were arrested and transported to MDF.
  • 2/1 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and on probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/4 – Blumen Ave: ARR- was contacted during a suspicious vehicle stop and determined to be in possession of .7 grams of suspected methamphetamine. ARR- to MDF.
  • 2/4 – Tuolouse Ln: ARR-1 and ARR-2 possessed approximately 20 grams of methamphetamine for future sales. ARR-1 also had an outstanding felony arrest warrant. Both were transported to MDF.

Parole/Probation Violation

  • 1/31 – Sycamore Ave: ARR chased VIC-1 and VIC-2 with a golf club. ARR determined to be too intoxicated to care for her own safety and in violation of probation. ARR to MDF.

Penal Code – Other Violations

  • 1/28 – Elm St: ARR contacted during a suspicious vehicle stop. ARR lied about her identity and fled the scene. ARR to MDF.

Petty Theft

  • 1/28 – York St.: Catalytic converter stolen from VIC’s vehicle. Occ’d 1/23/15 at 2000 to 1/24/15 at 0815 hours.
  • 1/28 – Liberty High: iPhone and Ugg boots taken by unknown RES during PE class.
  • 1/28 – Lone Tree way: RES attempted to take merchandise totaling approximately $680 from business using a booster bag. Merchandise recovered, RES fled on foot. WFA 5’5″ bro/bro gray hoodie, neon undershirt.
  • 1/28 – Lone Tree Way: ARR stole items from business. ARR was in possession of burglary tools and on probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 1/29 – Balfour: VIC reported RES took her locked up mountain bike while she was inside Safeway shopping.
  • 1/29 – Sand Creek: Unknown RES stole makeup brushes from business. Total value estimated at $300.
  • 1/31 – Putter Dr.: SUS stole $495 from VIC’s bed room without permission.
  • 2/1 – Caddie Ct.: Unknown responsible(s) stole a knife from the victim’s vehicle. Unknown if the vehicle was locked. Occurred from approximately 01/31/2015 at 1630 hours, to 02/01/2015 at 1000 hours.
  • 2/1 – Caddie Ct.: Unknown responsible(s) stole keys and a Garmin GPS from the victim’s vehicle. Unknown if the vehicle was locked. Occurred from approximately 01/31/2015 at 1500, to 02/01/2015 at 1000 hours.
  • 2/1 – Balfour: RES(s) entered business and stole two containers of baby formula.
  • 2/1 – Peachtree Ct.: VIC reported gas was syphoned from three vehicles sometime between 1-30-15 and 2-2-15.
  • 2/2 – Lone Tree: RESs stole items from business valued at $196.57 and fled when contacted by Loss Prevention.
  • 2/2 – Dainty Ave: Two security cameras mounted to the outside of the residence taken by unidentified suspect. Occurred on 2/1/15 between approximately 1945 hours and 2100 hours.
  • 2/2 – Kayla Pl: Responsible(s) took an envelope containing a cashier’s check and cash from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway.

Robbery

  • 1/28 – Lone Tree way: RES-1 stole a beer from the business. RES-1 and RES-2 assaulted employee VIC when confronted about the theft. RES-1 and RES-2 fled the scene.
  • 2/4 – Second St.: RES entered the victim business, produced a handgun, and demanded money from two tellers. RES fled on foot.

Vandalism

  • 1/28 – Oak St.: Word written, with a ballpoint pen, on the arm of a city owned cloth chair. Estimated damage $1,000.
  • 1/28 – Sand Creek: VIC’S passenger side window shattered.
  • 1/30 – Begonia Dr.: On 01/29/2015, at approximately 1000, victim noticed a bag of dirt/cement mixture was thrown into his pool.
  • 2/4 – Primrose Ct: RES smashed rear window of VIC vehicle.

Warrant

  • 2/6 – Oak St.: ARR was contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant, paraphernalia and provided a false name. ARR was transported MDF.
  • 2/7 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR WAS CONTACTED AND FOUND TO HAVE TWO OUTSTANDING OUT OF COUNTY WARRANTS. ARR TRANSPORTED TO MDF.
  • 2/7 – Second St.: ARR-1 AND ARR-2 WERE FOUND TO BE UNDER THE INFULUENCE OF CNS STIMULANTS, ARR-2 WAS ALSO IN POSSESION OF PARAPHERNALIA. ARR-3 HAD 5 OUTSTANDING WARRANTS. ALL THREE WERE TRANSPORTED TO MDF.

Weapons Violation

  • 2/6 – First St: ARR is on valid probation and was found to be in possession of a switchblade knife and a methamphetamine pipe. ARR transported to MDF.
  • 2/8 – Second St.: ARR was contacted for a VC violation and fled from officers. ARR was later apprehended and found to be in possession of a billy club. Upon his arrival to MDF, ARR was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia in a jail.
