Hannah Nicole Vineyards Announces New Winemaker

by ECT

On Tuesday, Hannah Nicole Vineyards & Winery in Brentwood introduced Sean M. Quinn as their new winemaker.

Quinn comes highly recommended by winemaker Julian Erggelet who had spent the last three years as winemaker explained general manager Debbie Francis.

Erggelet had worked the past three years to implement organic techniques, practices and ideas.

“We were extremely fortunate to have been nurtured by Julian’s incredible skill in both the vineyard and cellar. Julian now passes the ‘wine thief’ over to Sean who will continue to take Hannah Nicole Vineyards & Winery into our New Era with our vine to bottle integrity,” said Francis.

Quinn began his wine making career in Virginia, then spent time traveling throughout the top wine producing regions of the world before coming to California. He spent the last 10 years in the Napa Valley. It was here that he completed his Viticulture and Enology studies at Napa Valley College and U.C. Davis while also training with respected winemakers such as Margo Van Staaveren, Michael Beaulac, and Kirk Venge at Chateau St. Jean, Pine Ridge Vineyards, and Venge Vineyards. He comes to us from Viader Vineyards & Winery, an estate known for crafting Bordeaux blends that have been listed in the top 100 wines of the world for multiple vintages.

The entire Hannah Nicole Vineyards & Winery team is delighted to have our vineyard and cellar in such experienced hands and we welcome Sean to our family.
