Good Samaritan and Her Dog from Antioch, Assist Liberty High Student After Accident

by ECT

Earlier this morning, at 8:08 AM, a Liberty High School Student from Brentwood became involved in a solo vehicle roll-over traffic collision on eastbound Highway 4, west of Lone Tree Way.

A Good Samaritan from Antioch and her dog “Frankie Furter” stopped to check to make sure the teen was okay. They stayed with him until CHP – Contra Costa units responded to the scene.

This kind woman even allowed the teen to sit in her car and called his parents while he held the dog. The young driver was uninjured; however, was pretty shaken up.

When CHP officers arrived at the scene, he was holding the little hero pouch like a “therapy dog”, which helped him calm down.

This is the community we know and love. We are so grateful for the spirit of human kindness and man’s best friends. We are also grateful that a tired young man was wearing a seatbelt that saved his life.
