Fudge For Troops Campaign Exceeds Goal

I am pleased to report that the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory exceeded its 200 pound goal for the month of July during its Fudge For Troops Campaign with a total of 207 pounds of fudge to be donated to the Blue Star Moms.

Brentwood finished with a Grand Total of 106 Pounds of Fudge and Concord finished with a Grand Total of 101 Pounds of Fudge! The campaign was simple, buy a pound of fudge, they will donate a pound to the cause.

“We are thrilled by the generosity and support of our community! Blue Star Moms will be ecstatic to receive yet another sweet donation from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Brentwood, CA & Concord, CA that will benefit so many soldiers and brighten up their holidays this year,” said Christine McKnight.

They were quick to thank their customers while labeling them as “the best” because they appreciate their efforts and supportive of what they were working to accomplish while supporting the troops around the world.

“206 Pounds of Fudge being donated for our third campaign is a wonderful achievement and we are proud to be supporting our Servicemen and Servicewomen in such sweet fashion,” explained Craig and Christine McKnight.

With a week remaining in the campaign, they were reporting the campaign was 47 pounds away from their 200 pound goal but still remained confident they would hit their target.

“Throughout the entire month of July our customers shared with us how much they appreciated our efforts and were optimistic we would reach our 200 pound goal. Their optimism was contagious, therefore, we were equally optimistic that we would reach our goal by July 31st,” explained Christine McKnight.

The Blue Star Moms, Chapter 101 of the East Bay will include the fudge in care packages for the service men and woman stationed around the world.
