You know if Contra Costa County would maintain Vasco Rd with fire breaks at the asphalt to 4 or 5 foot in like normal responsible counties, these fires would probably be a lot less. The money spent to put out these fires could easily pay for a fire break. When you have trash and weeds growing out of the roadway touching dry grasses next to the roadway your gonna have issues. The county has been notified many times only to ignore their responsibility. They make everyone else do fire breaks yet they are above that abatement need.
