At 10:11 am Sunday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District were dispatched to a report of a garage fire in the 5500 block of Marlin Court in the Town of Discovery Bay.
While responding, Engine 59 reported a column of grey-dark smoke showing and upon arrival, located a fully involved garage fire with possible extension into a home.
As of 10:26 am, Engine 59 crew reported the fire had extended into the attic.
As of 10:45 am, BC5 reported the fire was knocked down.
