The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between February 16 – March 5 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Assault

  • 2/24 Buckeye Pl: ARR kicked VIC and damaged a wall during a dispute over a cell phone.
  • 2/25 – American Ave: ARR involved in two physical altercations on the campus of Heritage High School.
  • 2/26 – Dainty Ave: VIC- reported that she was kicked by RES- the previous day.
  • 2/27 – Walnut Blvd: ARR battered VIC during an argument. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/2 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR assaulted VIC. ARR was detained by WIT-1 at the scene. VIC did not want to press charges. ARR released from the station on a PTA.

Auto Theft

  • 2/16 – Ashford PL: RES took VIC vehicle and refused to return it. Vehicle entered into SVS as stolen. 1998 Ford Taurus.
  • 2/17 – Heartland Ct.: RES stole VIC vehicle between 1800 hours and 0600 hours.
  • 3/1 – Natwick Way: VIC reported his vehicle was stolen from his driveway overnight. VEH was entered into SVS by dispatch. The vehicle was later located in Oakley by Toyota ITRAX and was recovered by Oakley PD.
  • 3/4 – Europena Dr VEH stolen from in front of VIC’s residence. Occurred between 3/3/2015 at 1725 hours and 3/4/2015 at 0732 hours.

Battery

  • 2/16 – Sand Creek Rd: RES battered VIC after confronting her inside the store.

Burglary – business

  • 2/19 – Brentwood Blvd: RES- broke a window to gain access into the business and attempted to pry open a safe. No apparent loss.
  • 2/19 – Sand Creek: RES forced entry into business via pried rear door. RES stole numerous jewelry items, and antique cash register for a total approximate loss of $5,000. Occ’d 0410-0420 hrs.
  • 2/27 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC reported RES and INV entered business, and stole tip jar from counter.
  • 3/5 – Second St.: ARR stole items from the business and fled. ARR was apprehended and transported to MDF.

Burglary – residential

  • 2/17 – Presidio Dr: VIC-1 was the last to leave the residence at 0730 hours, and VIC-2 returned at 1600 hours.VIC-2 found a bedroom window broken and several lap tops, iPads, and jewlery were stolen. total approximate loss $2,480.00
  • 2/18 – Mojave Dr: Paintball pistol and rifle stolen from VIC garage sometime between 0300 hours on 2-18- 15 and 0600 hours on 02-18-15. Paintball pistol is Sprider Brand and paintball rifle is Tippmann Brand. Total loss is $649.
  • 2/18 – Baylaurel Ct.: Responsible removed several screens from rear of residence and slider was shattered along with window to master bedroom. No entry made. Occurred between 0600 and 1930 hours on 2/18/15. Windows possibly shot with pellet gun.
  • 2/18 – Chili Ct.: RES forced entry into residence on 2/18/15 between 1823-1932 and stole jewelry. RES fled the scene.
  • 2/19 – Strathaven Pl: Bicycle taken from open garage. Occurred 2/18/15 between approximately 1030 hours and 1100 hours.
  • 2/23 – Whittaker Ct.: Items stolen from VIC’S residence (Occ’d 02/23 1245-1600 hrs-entry via back glass door).
  • 2/27 – E Country Club: RES kicked in side garage door to residence and made entry into garage, however not the residence. Nothing Taken.
  • 2/28 – Rainier St: Unidentified RES forced entry into VIC’s home and stole items from within.
  • 3/1 – Haddington Ct: RES forced entry through side garage door and interior garage door. Nothing taken
  • 3/2 – Belmont Ct: RES entered VIC’s unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway. RES used VIC’s garage door opener to access garage. RES stole 1-Glock .45 cal , 1-Ruger .22 cal rifle, $1000.00 USD and sliver coins valued at $800.00, Total loss $2650.00. Occured from 2/28/2015 2000 hours-3/2/2015 0609 hours

Burglary – Theft from Auto

  • 2/23 – Balfour: ARR entered a storage shed and stole car keys and then entered that vehicle. ARR released on a juvenile affidavit.
  • 2/24 – Heritage Way: Locked VEH had the glove box and center console looked through by unidentified suspect(s). No items taken and no damages to VEH. Occurred on between approximately 2/23/15 2245 hours and 2/24/15 0700 hours.
  • 2/24 – Shady Willow Lane: RES forced entry into VIC’s vehicle, by drilling the door lock, and stole items. Occd 2/24/15 0420-1600 hours.
  • 2/26 – Tain Ct.: RES smashed window of VIC’s vehicle and stole a laptop and tablet. Incident occurred overnight. Total loss for incident is $1500.
  • 3/1 – Sand Creek Rd: Unknown responsible(s) stole a Panasonic stereo and two 12” Pogue speakers from the victim’s locked vehicle. There were no signs of forced entry. Occurred from 02/22/2015, at approximately 1030 hours, to 03/01/2015, at approximately 1115 hours.
  • 3/2 – Sand Creek Rd: RES stole 2 firearms (pistols) from VIC’s secured vehicle. Incident occurred from
  • 2/28/2015 to 3/2/2015. VIC was uncertain if theft occurred in Brentwood or other various cities. Firearms were entered into AFS.

Counterfeit

  • 2/16 – Babcock Ct.: RP sold a 42″ VIZIO TV to the RES who paid the RP with counterfiet bills.
  • 2/20 – Lone Tree Way: RES attempted to purchase merchandise with counterfeit currency, but fled the store when confronted by staff.
  • 2/20 – Lone Tree Way: RES purchased a television and sound equipment using twelve counterfeit $100 bills.

DUI

  • 2/16 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was involved in a single vehicle collision. ARR determined to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/16 – Tradition Way: ARR drove her vehicle under the influence of drugs and collided with a parked vehicle. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/20 – Grovewood LP: ARR contacted during suspicious vehicle stop. ARR found to be too intoxicated to operate a motor vehicle with the care of a sober driver. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/21 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR-1 stopped for VC violations and found to be intoxicated. ARR-1 released on a PTA. ARR-2 found to have two citeable warrants out of King’s County. ARR-2 released on a PTA.
  • 2/24 – Redhaven St.: V-1 collided with V-2 (parked vehicle) and fled the scene. V-1 and P-1 were both located. P-1 was found to be DUI while under the age of 21. P-1 cited and released on a NTA.
  • 2/24 – Balfour Rd: ARR rear ended V-2 and fled scene. ARR later collided with a tree. ARR was determined to be DUI. ARR provided breath samples. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/25 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR- was stopped for a vehicle code violation and determined to be in possession of marijuana. ARR- was also determined to be driving under the influence. ARR- to MDF.
  • 2/26 – Technology Way: P-1 was driving V-1 recklessly and collided with the building. P-1 fled the scene and was detained. P-1 was DUI and taken to MDF.

Embezzlement

  • 3/5 – Brentwood Blvd: RP reported an employee had embezzled property from VIC business using VIC credit card. Total approximately $11,300

Fraud

  • 2/16 – Valley Green Dr: RESP called VIC stating they were from the federal reserve and requested VIC to send them $950. VIC sent RESP $950 via Walmart Money-Gram. Loss is $950.
  • 2/24 – La Sata Dr: VIC received letter from IRS in regards to a 2014 tax return filed under VIC name. VIC has not yet filed. Verified that the return was completed fraudulently. IRS is investigating.
  • 2/24 – Sand Creek Rd: INV and ARR attempted to purchase items with counterfeit currency. ARR was in possession of a controlled substance and a fraudulent CDL. ARR released on a PTA. Store did not desire prosecution.
  • 3/2 – Sofia Way: RES used VIC’s SSN to file a tax return without VIC’s permission.

Grand Theft

  • 2/17 – Anastasia Dr.: RES stole boxes from VIC’s front porch.
  • 2/21 – Sand Creek Rd: VIC stated he parked his vehicle at 2385 Sand Creek Rd, when he returned a large piece of his vehicles tail pipe was missing.
  • 2/21 – Sand Creek Rd: VIC parked vehicle at 2355 Sand Creek Rd (Black Angus). When he returned he noticed a large piece of vehicle exhaust missing.
  • 2/21 – Sand Creek Rd: Catalytic converter theft from parked vehicle.

H&S Violations

  • 2/23 – Shady Willow Ln: ARR contacted and determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance. ARR also in possession of stolen vehicle keys from a burglary in the City of Antioch.

Narcotics Violation

  • 2/25 – Brentowod Blvd: ARR- was stopped for a vehicle code violation and determined to be in possession on .9 grams of suspected methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia. ARR’s vehicle was stored and entered into SVS. ARR- to MDF.
  • 2/27 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR stopped for vehicle code violation, and determined to be in possession and transporting marijuana for sales. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/1 – Orchard Dr: ARR was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during a suspicious vehicle check. ARR to MDF.

Other Violations

  •  3/4 – Second St.: ARR-1 was arrested for disturbing the peace and delaying officers. ARR-2 interfered with the arrest of ARR-1, and she was taken into custody for obstructing officers and public intoxication. ARR-3 refused orders to back away while filming the other two arrests, and he was taken into custody for obst…

Prowler

  • 2/21 – Heritage Way: While babysitting for the homeowners, RP saw an unidentified black male in the backyard of the residence. RES fled scene with no further incident.

Restraining Order Violation

  • 2/19 – Berry Lane: Vehicle was stopped for CVC violations. ARR was driving while his CDL was suspended for DUI. ARR was also driving in the vehicle with VIC, who has a domestic violence restraining order against him. ARR to MDF. Vehicle impounded.
  • 2/20 – Havenwood: ARR was found in VIC’s apartment in violation of a restraining order. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/20 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR violated valid restraining order. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/21 – Sycamore Ct.: While dispatched to 415D, RES was seen in the immediate presence of VIC, which violates RO. When ordered to stop by Police, RES fled the scene. RES is also on probation.

Robbery

  • 3/2 – Lone Tree Way: RES attempted to steal a drill and was confronted by loss prevention. RES tried to physically force his way past loss prevention. RES eventually dropped the drill and fled the scene.
  • 3/2 – Bluesage Ct.: VIC reported that SUS held him at gun point and robbed him of jelwery. Approximately loss, $ 515.00

Suspicious Circumstance

  • 2/20 – Second St.: A documented suspicious circumstance detailing an incident at Liberty HS that required students be placed on a lock-down until the scene was deemed safe.

Threats

  • 2/28 – Second St: ARR entered VIC’s business, made criminal threats, and possessed an imitation firearm. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/28 – Second St.: ARR walked into a store on Brentwood Blvd. and took five granola bars without paying for them. While ARR was outside he threatened to kill one of the employees. ARR to MDF.

Trespassing

  • 2/16 – Wlanut Blvd: ARR given trespass admonishment from Quik Stop on 1/17/15 by BPD officers. ARR returned to Quik Stop on 2/16/15. ARR released on PTA.

Vandalism

  • 2/16 – Brentwood Blvd: Unknown RES stabbed VIC’s passenger side front tire. Total approximate loss $100.
  • 2/17 – Sycamore Ave: VIC’s vehicle was keyed.
  • 2/18 – Claremont Dr: Responsible used black spray paint and black marker to write on rail and walkway of bridge at Creekside park.
  • 2/19 – Spruce St.: VEH vandalized parked on Spruce Street. Occurred 2/19/15 between approximately 0800 hours and 1430 hours.
  • 2/20 – Sand Creek Rd: RES threw a rock at the front window to the business, damaging it.
  • 2/20 – Arroyo Seco Rd: On 02/20/2015, at approximately 0938 hours, black graffiti that appeared to be gang related was found on a soundwall.
  • 2/23 – Stonewood: Graffiti along the walking trail along Stonewood Drive and the back side of Aspen Ct. Gang related along with multiple profanities.
  • 2/23 – Island Park Pl: RP located graffiti on the sound wall to the west of the location. Contacted HOA president.
  • 2/24 – Castellina Dr.: Soundwall east of the bypass defaced with black and white spray paint.
  • 2/24 – Sand Creek Rd: RES became disgruntled at employer and vandalized the business. RES left before officer arrival. Total damage estimated at $100.
  • 3/2 – American Ave: Responsible(s) used blue, silver, white, and black spray paint to write on walls of concrete drain culvert on east and west sides of American Ave.
  • 3/4 – Oleander St.: RES was seen damaging and knocking over VIC’s mailbox. $200 damage.
  • 3/4 – Lone Tree Way: Responsible used black spray paint to write on concrete retaining wall on north side of Lone Tree Way at Arroyo Seco Rd.

Warrant

  • 2/20 – Village Dr: ARR was contacted for a VC violation and was found to have an outstanding citable warrant for a violation of probation.
  • 2/21 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR stopped for CVC violation. ARR found to have a $100,000 warrant out of Texas. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/23 – Rockwells St.: ARR issued a PTA for an out of county cite-release warrant.
  • 2/24 – Hickory Dr.: ARR stopped for VC violation and provided a false identity to officer in an attempt to avoid being arrested on an active felony want. ARR to MDF.
  • 2/24 – Willow Pass Rd: ARR was stopped for vehicle code violations and found to have a no cite warrant. ARR was transported to MDF.
  • 2/24 – Lone Tree Way: ARR- was stopped for a vehicle code violation and determined to have a no-cite warrant for VC 14601.2(a). ARR’s vehicle was stored and entered into SVS. ARR- to MDF.
  • 2/26 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted and found to have 2 outstanding warrants for 11377(a) HS and 273.6 PC. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/4 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted on a consensual encounter. ARR determined to have a misdemeanor no bail warrant for 415(2) PC. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/5 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was found to have an outstanding warrant and driving while suspended. ARR was issued a promise to appear and was released at the scene.

Weapons Violations

  • 3/4 – Empire: ARR admitted to have knives on him. Upon the search he was in possession of 3 illegal knives.
